Levan x Le Vere Volé x Alice Newman
Four major players of the Parisian restaurant scene will bring an extra serving of joie de vivre to Peckham over the coming weeks as we introduce a new residency series Paris à Londres.
On the 18th May we welcome Le Verre Volé
Another Anglo-French alliance which couldn’t be more exiting. Le Verre Volé, a stalwart of the Paris scene for the past 20 odd years, if they haven’t done it, it’s not worth doing. Co-owner Thomas Vicente, who also owns the Atangana Record label will be travelling over with a few exclusive records and bottles and teaming up with British chef Alice Newman, who’s been cooking up a storm at the super cool Auberge de la Roche in southern France. With a big focus on the French auberge scene, Alice has also cooked at the legendary Auberge de Chassignolles and Maison Ailhon with time spent in Parisian bistros Café les Deux Gares and La Vierge. Before settling in France, Alice’s career started in the Michelin world in the UK, from there she moved to Canada where she worked in a renowned bakery and built a deep appreciation of baking with heritage grains.
Join us for lunch where we'll be serving a £55 per person menu including a selection of sharing starters, a main course and dessert. Wines will be curated in conjunction with each guest restaurant focusing on their favourite growers.
Come next door afterwards for the after party where we'll be taking to the decks and popping corks.
Owing to the nature of this event, the menu will unfortunately not be able to cater to any dietary requirements.
