   Solid French cuisine. We had the chateaubriand which was very tasty.. The service staff were full of personality . A very warm atmosphere and surroundings. Had a thoroughly lovely evening.

   Exceptional service with excellent food. Intimate dining experience with wonderful attention give by all the restaurant team. Had the pre-theatre menu good choices at reasonable prices. Portion sizes were good bread selection amazing

   The food and service were truly impeccable. It is my second time dining here but first time for lunch. I will most definitely be returning. The music of Charles Brel really was the cherry on top!

   Good service, excellent food and wine and above all, no background music. A pleasure to eat in such an ambiance, quiet and cultured.

   I had heard much about L'Escargot and its reputation. I was not disappointed. The service was fast, attentive and knowledgeable and the food superb. One could not ask for more or better.

   My absolute favourite restaurant. The set menu was 3 courses for £25 and the food, service and ambience are just wonderful. Whatever you are having, treat yourself to the bread basket! Will most definitely become a regular visitor.

    We had a lovely experience at L’escargot. We chose from the set menu and really enjoyed our choices. Also ordered bread, which was a delicious selection, especially the cheese and truffle bread. The service was excellent, from the lovely young lady at reception who showed us to our table to the waiting staff, all very professional, informative with exactly the right level of attentiveness. A very enjoyable restaurant experience.
