The iconic, l’escale restaurant bar, or “port of call” for seasonal Mediterranean cuisine is designed to transport the ambiance of Provence to the Gold Coast of Connecticut. Two-hundred-year-old stone terra cotta tiles from Provence adorn the floors with a wood burning fireplace lending an unmistakable charm and beauty.

Located at Delamar Greenwich Harbor Hotel, the restaurant’s intimate decor, along with its wrought iron tonelle covered waterfront terrace and exquisitely designed menu by award winning Executive Chef Frederic Kieffer will deliver the Côte d’Azur right to your table.

                  Pathetic experience. Mix up of cocktails and dinner. Service not coordinated. Clearly absentee chef with hand-down kitchen instructions. Manager was there but not earnest. So sorry how a favorite restaurant has declined.

                  We had a fantastic upscale lunch, made even better by the warm hospitality from the moment we arrived. The drinks were excellent, the octopus appetizer was a standout—perfectly cooked and full of flavor—and the desserts were absolutely amazing. Special thanks to our lovely server Meryem, who made the experience even more memorable with her kindness and care. We’ll definitely be back!

                  A little surprised (esp. given the price!) it was a prix fixe for Mother's Day -- was not clear on the reservation. Environment felt a little "industrial" for a special occasion.

                  Exceptional as always! The staff is familiar and friendly and goes above and beyond to take care of guests. Our meal was delicious, and on a busy day like Mother’s Day, not a single shortcut was taken. L’escale is the best of Greenwich!
