   Main meals came out before starters. When they fixed this issue, they didn’t send one of the starters out with the starters again. Finally, when we were ready for the main course, the lamb shoulder was freezing cold, the half a chicken had blood lines all through it, the steak was nice for half of it and tough for the other half, and everything just didn’t taste great. The response when telling the server was that he was just a junior and could do nothing, not even an apology. The manager finally came and asked what we wanted him to do, to which I said that’s up to him and I’m just letting him know it wasn’t good, to which he simply offered a free drink. For the price and quality, simply isn’t worth it.

   A very disappointing experience ! We were ready to order when the young waitress arrived with an updated menu. Approx 8 menu items had been removed as not available. Our first and second choices were amongst the items not available. We made the decision to leave and find somewhere else to eat lunch. There were no staff around to tell so we left. Won’t be rushing back.

   Seemed to be a great deal of confusion with the orders coming out of the kitchen. The restaurant was about two thirds full, there were several big group like ours which was 14 people. Despite ordering together, the meals came out one by one with 20 minutes’ to 45 minutes’ gap. It took over 3 hours for us all to receive our meals. The food was average at best. The prawn linguini was very unappetising for those who ordered it, the pork was ok, but not great. Fish tacos were not great, either. This should be a really fantastic venue, especially for large groups on holiday but food and service let it down.

   Waited over an hour for food. Asked waitstaff 3 times where it was at to be told it was next meal out of kitchen. Finally went to kitchen direct and saw our order was top of queue but with others being sent out of kitchen ordered much later than us. Asked tbe kitchen direct who said the schnitzel on our order has run out and they were waiting for the order to be updated with a new item. The wait staff were not aware of this until we told them. They cancelled our whole order, made a refund, and we left hungry

   We booked for 12 people 3 elderly people using walkers turned up for a planned family reunion. There is zero wheel chair access and no where on the website does it state this and no staff mentioned it when I called twice to change and confirm booking

   30 + yearly locals, been disappointed last four times, won't be giving it another go. Last 3 times shared or entrees came out with mains, have requested last 2 times for there to be a break between. Requested again and explaining this has been previous experience and to ensure there was a a gap and was assured this would not happen today, it didn't if you think 5 mins is an appropriate gap, let alone waiting 25 minutes for cocktails. There is a good reason everyone is going to the Sports Club

    The staff were either run off their feet, or rude - and also spent a lot of time on their phone, so rude I guess. The whole place was pretty dirty, from the staircase to get to the bistro, walls, floors, fridges behind the bar etc. Pepper was empty, salt was missing, table wasn’t wiped properly. The food was tasty though overcooked and kind of thrown on the plate. We won’t be back just because of how grotty the place was.
