Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.

We were greeted by a lady who diden’t even ask if we were pre booked just simply said yes just two sit there. Service was quite terrible we sat there for 30 minutes after that without a drink or a menu . In the end I had to try to catch eye contact with the poor man who looked rushed off his feet. The couple who came in after us got menus before us it was embarrassing as I had been raving to my flat mate about past experiences at leigh bistro. The man did apologise it took another 20 minutes to then do our food order which the food was amazing like always! I think it was the owner who gave us a frangelico each on the house which was nice but I even said to the flusted man I have booked a table do you want the name so it doesn't come up as a no show? (As Iv worked in hospitality myself in the past) he just said oh yes and looked embarrassed over all such a shame as me and my fiancé often rave about the place but it was not a great experience this time, shame.

Food was really tasty and well presented, the food was served with a smile so big you could see it through their face masks! Will definitely be going back!

Excellent as always. Didn’t get side dish that came with roast, had to ask for it. Came to us almost immediately, so no real problem. Staff and owner always polite and helpful.

Lovely food at a very reasonable price. Staff where all very efficient & attentive. Good choice of wine that were very good value for money. Have recommended to family & friends, will return after lockdown for sure.

The staff were all very polite and professional the food was amazing and the overall evening was very enjoyable we will be making this restaurant a regular on our evenings dinning out!

Our first visit back to this restaurant post lockdown and unfortunately social distancing measures are zero. Tables crammed in and customers walking around the restaurant with no masks and unchallenged. No requirement to complete track and trace information (although I suppose they have our details from open table booking). Unfortunately won’t be returning while Covid restrictions are in place.

First time visit but will not be our last!

Food was good enough, but veg really needs butter and seasoning because it was quite bland.

Food was ok, only our shared chateaubriand steak came out medium and we wanted medium rare.

Care had not been taken to ensure that customers could social distance. They had packed in too many tables and customers into the restaurant. The back of my chair was right up against the chair of the person on the table behind me. Made us feel very uncomfortable. Good food though.

Always a lovely meal here, would have given full marks but the falafel was a little dry! Still good though!

Fab food good service

Felt rushed when trying to browse the menu by our server. Food was of good quality, but my roast beef could of been more tender when cutting it. Didn't like the ice cream that came with the chocolate fondant, not creamy enough for me. The restaurant needed some background music to help create an atmosphere as there was only 4 tables in use whilst I was at the restaurant.

My friend and I visited the leigh bistro last weekend for a much needed catch up, the food was absolutely fantastic, especially for what we felt was a modest price point!! Will definitely return 👌🏻👌🏻

We have eaten here before but was disappointed this time, our food was cold and when sent back it returned slightly warmer but not hot! We also felt uncomfortable with how close seating was with other tables. I know they need to make money but we were way to close to the table next to us.

Great food and service in a lovely restaurant.

The decor is beautiful.
The staff were very friendly and attentive (thank you to the blonde haired waitress who was very good at her job)

But....
No PPE worn by staff to protect themselves as well as the customer.
No hand sanitiser to use.
Not a single face mask in sight.
No social distancing rules followed by staff.
It was hard for customers to follow the rules because of how tightly packed the Resturant was with people.
No details taken for track and trace.

The menus were printed on a A4 sheet of paper and passed around diners in the bistro so many hands have touched them.

It was a Saturday evening and understand that people are wanting to socialise so expected the place to have a buzz but couldn’t hear yourself think.

I also understand the owner has bills to pay and a family to feed so fully empathise with their situation but I wouldn’t recommend here to a friend.
