Legal Sea Foods - King of Prussia
Legal Sea Foods is a Philly favorite. Surrounded by hotels and near both the Valley Forge Convention Center and Valley Forge National Historic Site, we are at a mall entrance on the upper level of the Court.
Guests get reeled in by our buzz-worthy lounge and comfortable dining room. Half-shell hedonists may sit at our 10-seat horse-shoe shaped oyster bar where slurping is encouraged.
Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.
We’ve received a boatload of accolades including the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
Great birthday lunch, but we could have used some drink refills. Other than that, it was great and we will be back.
Lunch was exceptional with excellent service.
I have eaten in Legal Seafood in Boston many times. This was by far the worst meal. The seafood was overcooked under-seasoned & we waited for about an hour for our food. Extremely disappointed.
Food was served lukewarm
Service was inconsistent
Good selection of appetizers from the raw bar! Our waiter, Eric, recommended the Cotuit and Wellfleet oysters from MA, and they were deliciously sweet and briny. I had the classic crab cakes combo with shrimps and scallops, but I regret not doubling up on the cakes. A glass of St. Kilda chardonnay went well with the meal.
Legal seafood never fails to disappoint with awesome seafood and a great time. We went on a Saturday mid day for lunch , food was great but the service was a little off . We still had a great meal
Crowded and overbooked, bad seating
It was very good service
Calamari and fish n chips are not as good compared to the legal seafoods in Boston. Too much starch and less flavor. Greek salad is so salty 🤮
Went here to get a lobster dinner. The food was excellent and tasty. Service was ok at best and noise level was high. Overall we enjoyed the dinner and would return.
Service was slow and perhaps it was related to Valentine's Day but I would think all Friday nights are busy.
Food was bland and uninventive the surf and turf special was too tough to eat and the mussels had no flavor no spice. Seemed like the kitchen was just sending out food as fast as possible and the quality suffered. The best part about the meal was the oysters
Service of food and drinks was very slow
When seated I felt like a sardine in a can.
the waiter had to reach over my dates head to serve me my drink/ food.
The dishes were left on the table and when the check came for us to pay that is when the server/ waiter was clearing the table.
When paying almost 200.00 I expect a little more.
We were seated quickly. Service was slow, food took forever, calamari was bland and wasnt battered much, brussel sprouts came out raw and cold, tuna steak came out raw, drinks were slow to be refilled, and not all appetizers were put in. For the price we paid it was definitely not worth the value of service nor was the food.
Outstanding Service, delicious lunch and delicious wines. Best scallops and shrimp and kale side I had!! We celebrated my friend’s 50th birthday and it was a fabulous afternoon!! I can’t wait to go back again soon!!!
We had a great server, the food was delightful, and my fried oysters era cooked perfectly.
Service very slow. Quality of food good but menu very unexciting.
Awful sequencing of delivery of food. Took forever to get apps and then entrees came while we were still eating apps. Not usual Legal experience
Celebrating granddaughter birthday. She loved the trout and so did I. Food was good service very nice. Thank you
I'd have to say we were overall excited to eat at Legal Seafood seeing that it was our first time. Being as though it was a Saturday night we got there before the dinner rush and stayed for a long time. The drinks were great and our server was great. Just some small mishaps. My drink had a fruit fly in it. I called over the manager he apologized and brought me a new one. Throughout our 2 and a half hour dining experience the general manager was walking around and table touched several tables around us but never visited our table (interesting). My husband and I are in the restaurant industry on the Main Line and thought that this was odd. My husbands filet came out well done when ordered medium. Still the GM didn't stop by. We got our check after getting dessert and an espresso martini (which was delicious). Come to find out not one thing was discounted on our bill. Mind you my husband ate alone because by the time his corrected steak came out my daughter and I both were finished eating. We probably won't be back but I'm happy to say it was overall an "ok" experience.
Outstanding. We haven't eaten there in a couple years but the food and the service were super. They are a great option for the gluten free crowd. Very sensitive to allergies.
Great as usual
The service was okay. The food was okay. I would not recommend.
It seemed as if they were unprepared for a party of our size despite having reservations. Most of the food spent way too much time under the heat lamp making the seafood tough and many items over cooked and crunchy (when they were not supposed to be crunchy). The waitress was not very attentive. I understand wanting to give space and not rush your patrons but it felt more like neglect. Unfortunately, this was NOT a good visit.
We took my 87 year old Aunt to dine for her birthday. We ordered and asked two things, one, all of the food be brought out together and two, her steak was cooked showing no pink. I stressed both with our server twice but two salads came out first, One later, soup even later and the steak was medium. We had to snd it back and it took 20 minutes to get it returned.
Additionally, the food quality suffers greatly. The bowl Maryland Crap Soup came in a cup and although somewhat tasty, the crab was minced not the lump crab meat as in the past. I would not recommend this resturant any longer and I am really surprised the food went downhill so quickly.
Saw a mouse run a cross the floor near where I was sitting
It came from the direction of the kitchen.
Me and my guest inform the staff
The service was terrible as slow. The food was disgusting. Save your gas, your money and your time. Yuck!
I've been to Legal Seafoods many times. This was my most disappointing meal yet. The food was generally overcooked. Appetizers did not come out together ... some were 10 minutes late. On the plus side, the wine was excellent and very moderately priced. Food pricing in general is very fair. It is a high volume restaurant, so expect it to be a bit loud and crowded. Our server was fantastic, but she was quite busy managing a lot of tables.
Great dinner for date night!
The food was good. The service was good. The Nothing was very good or excellent. Therefore, the value was just good.
Fresh seafood good lunch selection
Food was good but waited exceedingly too long for food in an almost empty restaurant.
Brittney was our server and she did an EXCELLENT job. Happy New Year to all.
Dinner for two on New Years Eve. Tasty food. Good service, not intrusive but sufficiently attentive. Comfortable seating.
Easy access from the mall parking lot.
We will definitely return.
Third year here for a nice New Year's Eve dinner. Each time we've had a fantastic time. The food, service, and overall experience is top-notch. Would recommend without hesitation for great seafood, great drinks, and great service.
My wife and I had dinner on New Year Eve at the King of Prussia location. We have been there before and found this restaurant great for a quiet gourmet dinner. On this occasion we notice the fresh fish choices were somewhat limit from our previous visits. But still, we found the tuna steak to be delicious and the different toppings add different flavors to compliment the entree. The only reason I rated the service was that the waitress forgot our clam chowder before serving the main course. She did apologize and asked us if we still wanted to be served. With main entree already at the table, we thought that the chowder would cool to fast. After finishing our main course we had a key lime dessert that was fantastic.
Wonderful! Food was great with excellent oysters and NE Clam chowder. Brittany (our server) was on her “A” game. Total winner!
Food was absolutely disgusting, I had to send it back. I will never go back
We eat here often usually getting their signature crab cakes. They are always cooked to perfection with plenty of crab not filler.
