Chef Emil Oliva has curated a menu that celebrates Peruvian cuisine in an authentic yet not traditional way using nikkei techniques, chifa recipes, criollo traditions, spanish and Italian influences. We invite you to experience different spaces in our restaurant. We have the greenhouse for a nice cozy space filled with plants, perfect for larger and private parties as well. Our ceviche bar where guests are able to have a much more personable experience with the chefs and the food. A Pisco bar full of talented bartenders curating amazing cocktails. Our dining room, exciting, busy, warm, and full of life. We also offer shaded front patio with a busy street and a covered back patio experience with beautiful trees surrounding us. The food was delicious! The margarita mezcal is amazing but drinks take a bit to arrive. The ambience is cute! Small place but they make it work. It’s a gem!

We loved the Amazonico Cebiche, which was brought to the table first. We also had Oysters, Causa, and Chocolo Frito, which were all good, but not as amazing as I was expecting. Service was also fine--not awesome, not great. Our order of the oysters got lost somehow or were taken to the wrong table so we had to remind our server that we had ordered them. I had noted in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday but there was no mention of it at the restaurant at all. The greenhouse is definitely the coolest of the outdoor seating options (AC units were trying their best to keep it cool) but it was SO buggy. I don't mind a fly or two here and there but they were really all over the place. Flies are something I can typically overlook but here it was out of control, which doesn't match the ambiance I would expect for a James Beard finalist and Michelin recommended restaurant.

We left very impressed by our first visit, and will definitely return next time we visit San Antonio. I enjoyed watching the ceviches being made to order, and while they command a high price, they deliver on quality. The Nikkei version had a tamarind ponzu that was on the salty side, but the tuna and avocado helped balance it. The branzino dish was virtually perfect, a super fresh fish with no bones. Wines by the glass were impressively poured tableside and offered great value, whereas the Pisco sour was passable but not incredible. I ordered an IPA that our server said was local but turned out to be from Houston. She was friendly but also hard to track down. Service in general was sufficient, casual and accommodating. This restaurant offers a vibrant vibe with colorful decorations and healthy plants abounding. The interior design is tasteful and comforting. They do a great job sourcing eclectic wines and high-quality local ingredients, clearly demonstrating that the whole operation is guided by wise professionals with foresight and principles.

We started with the ceviche nikkei, recommended by our server. It was delicious, highly seasoned and filled with chunks of yellowfin tuna, ripe avocado, and crispy sweet potato curls. I had a pisco sour, which was topped with foam and very refreshing. We shared the mariscos con arroz, an assortment of seafood on a delicious bed of yellow rice with some small vegetables. This reminded us of Spanish paella, and was just the right amount to share. Unfotunately we were both too full for dessert. Next time for sure! This is a unique little restaurant with good service and creative decor. We will be back! It is worth the drive from New Braunfels.

Only bad thing was it rained on our outside reservation, but this is completely out of the restaurants control. I’m more impressed with how they handled everything so gracefully and accommodated our large party. They truly value their customers and the food never disappoints!

I have been here before and I loved it! Some friends from out of town came to visit and I HAD to bring them here! Amazing food great vibes! Lillie was the BEST she was so kind, so attentive, made sire we were comfortable and enjoying! She genuinely made our experience 100x better!

Great find this place is 5 Star the food tasted delicious and the Ceviche was fresh and full of great seafood, it was the best ceviche I've had here in TX. Everything we ordered was Exquisite and we will be back very soon to try more menu options.

The food was fabulous, and has been consistently so on the 3 occasions I have visited. Every time I eat here wonderful memories surface of Lima and Cuzco and all the amazing food I experienced in Peru when I lived there. Keep it up!
