The views of Primland’s rolling fairways and verdant forest landscapes could easily distract if the cuisine and generous interiors at Leatherflower did not command your full attention.     This is one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. The ambiance, service, and food was top notch. We were especially blown away by the smoked trout and the chocolate custard dessert. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will be back!

    Very good food consistently for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Service was friendly, attentive, efficient, and in obtrusive. Environment was relaxing with a serene view. Looking forward to returning.

    We ate at the Primland bar and were wowed by their wings and their chicken leg/thigh dish. So we were expecting great things from the main fine dining room. They say jackets are recommended but optional - frankly I was disgusted by the dress of most of the clientele - cu too sweats - really? The wine list is heavily balanced to the 3-4 digit price range so difficult to get a well priced bottle of wine. We found the smoked trout hushpuppies dry and tasteless. saw flakes of fish but had not really flavor.. The pork chop was smothered in an overly rich, salty sauce. Not sure that the roe added anything. Usually I would ask for bread to soak up a sauce one meat but this was heartburn on a plate. Stick with the bar - menu and even the ambiance is better!
