    Amazing place. Great service. Great views. Nice dining room. Food used to be way better. Not sure if they got a different chef, or what? Same menu, same prices, just not as well cooked or flavorful. They have added some specials, which is nice, but fish chowder is an odd choice when it is 90 degrees in the middle of summer.

    My wife and I chose to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary at Leatherflower and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the ambiance and service. Christie was very attentive to our needs. The menu covered all of the protein options. We loved the Carolina Gold Rice starter. The Ribeye dish was done to the right temperature. The halibut was very nice, but a bit too blackened for my wife's taste. She will learn to ask for a less blackened piece in the future. We really appreciated the complimentary bubbly with our dessert to cap off our dinner!

    We dined at Leatherflower several times during our stay at Primland. The food and service was beyond expectations. I had the duck breast, and my wife had the chicken. Both were well prepared, beautifully plated and delicious. The staff and our server are all very friendly, professional, and attentive. This is truly a place to visit.

    Leather flower is beautiful with sweeping views. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Our server Christine was a true professional, friendly and knowledgable. The issue is with the food, we both ordered the Ribeye, one medium rare and one medium. They were both rare and neither came with the creamy potatoes as it stated on the menu. We ate at the sister restaurants- Laural Bar the next night and experienced the same issue with the steak friets- ordered medium well this time and got medium rare. Why the chef does not use a meat thermometer is beyond understanding! Also ordered the skilled cookie and it was so hard we could not get it out of the skillet. This is a 5 star resort all the way- until you get to the food.

    The restaurant was out of lamb,so we ordered ribeye. It was an unorthodox presentation. We ordered it medium rare. Mine arrived medium well. Both were charred across the top like end pieces. Unusual choice for medium rare orders. Sides were fine. Wine list superb. Service was good. Beautiful space.

    We drove up from Winston-Salem, NC for the day and had Mothers' Day Brunch at Leatherflower. It was a beautiful drive and only took a little over an hour. The space was warm and inviting, with fantastic views of the golf course and the rolling hills outside. Upscale without being stuffy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. Steak was cooked perfectly and the Lobster Benedict we'll be dreaming about for weeks to come. Will definitely be coming back to try dinner.

    This is one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. The ambiance, service, and food was top notch. We were especially blown away by the smoked trout and the chocolate custard dessert. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will be back!
