Le Yaca - Virginia Beach
Excellent service. The food was very good. My wife's crab cakes were awesome. The salmon I had was good. The soup du jour was tomato, and was superb. The souffle was worth the extra $8.00. Very enjoyable evening. Our server was on point.
Le Yaca is becoming our all time favorite restaurant!
Awesome 25th Anniversary dinner! Wonderful service, quiet, fabulous food. Can’t wait to go back for dinmer.
Brunch at LeYaca was merveilleux. Excellent food, beautiful presentation, attentive service.
And the Grand Marnier soufflé was perfection. Five stars for sure.
We enjoyed our evening at La Yaca. The service was superb and the recommendations were on point. I had beef and my friend had the fish special. Both entrees were cooked as ordered and very good.
Great food. Outstanding value. Best overall food experience I have had in a long time.
Service was great Terry our server was wonderful, crab cakes amazing, Baguette best I found in Virginia
It was a great choice for my husband’s birthday! Everything was great, even down to the little birthday message and candle for his birthday. Thank you!
There is nothing short of excellent about Le Yaca. A flawless restaurant with the best food you’ll ever taste and the loveliest staff!
Very nice. Look forward to my next visit. Food and service was excellent.
Incredible food! Rack of lamb was perfect! Full of flavor. Money well spent as always!!!
Service was top notch with a very knowledgeable wait staff and the ambiance was very good for quiet conversations. The food; however, did not quite add up to the billing. The Dover sole and the veal scallopini was good but not great. I would still recommend it for a date night.
The Le Yaca in Williamsburg is absolutely our favorite restaurant in tidewater. So we decided to go to the one in VA Beach 10min from our home. Truly a mistake. Our Le Escargot which was our starter was totally over cooked. They did not have any oysters.
While eating my food I pulled a female hair out of my mouth and I can not even begin to say how sick that was. My wife could not even eat her food because of that.
But the big issue was the manager’s respond to me which was so unprofessional and undue for was “ we don’t have a female in the kitchen, do you want another one” that’s was it. We were very excited when we found out that we had Le Yaca near to us but I will drive up to Williamsburg than go back there again. There is NOTHING but the name that is similar here to Le Yaca in Williamsburg.
Fantastic from start to finish. This was a belated birthday lunch to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday (his great-grandmother’s treat to fulfill a promise in letters she wrote him while he was in Basic Training in 2017). I appreciated (and this thankfully happens often on OpenTable) that a specifically requested type of table was honored. Our table was a good size, in a corner near the front of the restaurant. Bright but not a glare and quiet enough to visit with those in our party who are hard of hearing. The lunch menu is varied and portions generous. Service was completely on-point and very friendly. I always breathe a sigh of relief when a restaurant cares enough to appreciate that we are there not only to eat but to build memories. Great experience - a rare opportunity for a generational visit and birthday celebration.
Overall, that was nice for my daughter’s 17th birthday dinner.
My plate had tasty Japanese shiitake mushroom which I love it.
But broad beans and tomatoes are not
Only I can say it
Le Yaca is a wonderful restaurant. I was with a group of 7 for lunch. Our waitress was professional but friendly. We were treated very well. The food was delicious. Most had the filet magnon, but I had the steak frites. Very good too. The pre fix menu us well worth it. I am looking forward to many meals here.
Le Yaca lived up to all the reviews. My wife and I came to VaBeach to celebrate our 53d Anniversary. When I read the reviews a couple of weeks before we departed for the beach, I made our reservation. The food, the service and the ambiance were outstanding. A meal like we received would be at least twice as much as in Richmond and DC. Do not let its location in a nondescript shopping center fool you. This restaurant is exceptional!
Amazing restaurant. Very accommodating. Very reasonable prices.
The best champagne & escargot!
The food, the service, the presentation, the friendliness are all first class. Bravo!
My wife and I went here to celebrate her birthday. We have nothing but great things to say. The food and service could not have been better! We look forward to coming again.
The food and the service were exceptional!
Our Dining experience at Le Yaca was fabulous! First the ambiance was very prestigious & sultry. Our waiter was kind & knowledgeable with the descriptions of the entrees which made it easy for us to choose our meals. Our meals rivaled those we had while visiting France. We were pleasantly pleased & will return very soon!
I was always a perfect dinner with friends and we found a new waitress. So I can’t tell everyone we would like to keep her for ourselves
Great place for a relaxing Sunday Brunch.
This is a fantastic restaurant - good food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere. We will DEFINITELY be returning!!
Everything was great. The food. The service the wine. Will come back again for sure.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Stagg was awesome. I will definitely come again.
Had a three course lunch. Everything was perfectly done!
Le Yaca is always a wonderful experience. Service is impeccable and the food is delicious.
It is always a pleasure to dine at Le Yaca. Every meal that my wife and I have been served there has been deliciously prepared. Le Yaca's staff is attentive and professional. The restaurant is elegant and the atmosphere is first class. We've expressed to our friends and neighbors what a marvelous terrific menu and quality of cuisine they can find at Le Yaca. We look forward to our next dining experience at Le Yaca.
Restaurant was nicely decorated, service and food was outstanding, the atmosphere was a little noisy, could barely hear the music playing in the background.
Absolutely delightful! We love this place. Food is scrumptiously delicious! The staff is most professional, friendly, and welcoming! We try to go to Le Yaca weekly, it is THAT good!
Le Yaca is a very nice place to take a special person or party to enjoy a quiet, exquisite dinner in a very pleasant ambiance. I enjoy special times with my wife at Le Yaca
I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and most of them have taken my advice and are now fans. Dianna the hostess was extremely accommodating on this visit because we were there 1 1/2 hours early due to a dr. appointment. She worked her charm and changed the reservation which was great. The food was excellent as usual. My steak was so-o tender and my husband's meal was perfect. Can't wait for my next visit.
Went for restaurant week. Price set menu $35.
1st course: Leek soup with truffle oil. - Honestly don't know why places think pouring truffle oil on something makes it taste better, but it doesn't. It gave it a strange taste.
2nd course: Beef wellington with veggies. The beef was cooked to my request. It was good. Could have used a little more seasoning on the beef before it was cooked.
3rd course: Creme broule - I didn't eat it but my companion wasn't impressed. Said it was more like vanilla pudding then a custard.
The biggest issue was the packing of the leftovers. I had significant piece of beef left over and veggies. instead of putting the items side by side in a to go box, it was put in a soup to go container with the beef wellington on the bottom and veggies stuff in on top. By the time I got it home the pastry was a soggy mess and had to be tossed. Not the correct way to package leftovers.
Overall for a what is considered a fine dinning restaurant, I was not impressed.
We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday with another couple and we all enjoyed our meals. Service is always great! All the staff is very attentive and friendly. Food is delicious I especially like their crab cakes. We will definitely be back.
Crab crepe and French onion soup are the best! Outstanding service, great experience!
Higher end fine dining establishment. Good service and excellent quality food and for presentation. 4 course lunch is a great deal. We’ll be regular clients after this first recce!
