For a Saturday night, the restaurant was a ghost town. After dining there I can see why. The food is overpriced. The chicken Parmesan was soggy and I ordered a filet mignon medium and it came out rare. Waiter gave us a dessert for free which was nice, but still not worth the price.

dinner with more diver scallops.
The only negative.........out of creme brulee & Italian cheese cake desserts on a Friday
Really good food, but the restaurant is grossly understaffed. I've been there on quiet nights and busy nights and the service always seems frantic. They need more staff.
My family and I went to celebrate my husbands birthday. The waiter was excellent and every dish was wonderful. We will be back
Excellent meal, excellent service. I relied heavily on our server's recommendations. My wine and entree were fantastic. My husband had two of the specials and was very pleased as well. Definitely will go back.
First time visit on Valentine's day. Halibut was well cooked but combined with mashed purple potaties was weird and not attractive. Pasta (lobster rav.) Was homemade and properly cooked although filling bland. I do not care for lighting (and felt the same way under previous ownership) but diningroom is comfortable and quiet. Big problem is terrible service. The dining room had at least six people operating as everything from hostess to maitre d, all running around noisily and frantically to no avail. Food late, drinks slow, waiters guessing as to who was getting what all over the diningroom. The number of tables should have been a breeze for a staff of this size. I will give it another whirl, but probably only one.

Had a great meal with my wife and a friend, our waiter Milton was very good and the atmosphere very pleasant.
The antipasto and the octopus salad were substantial and tasty. My squid ink pasta with fruits de mer was excellent. I forgot all about saving some for the next day as I washed it down with a nice (and reasonably priced) Brunello. The halibut special was also well received by members of my party. However, my wife's pasta with sausage was surprisingly inedible, as the sausage was excessively salted. Now, I generally like well spiced food. I brine the turkey before Thanksgiving, and everything we make with the turkey including the gravy is highly salted. But this was too much. I suspect it was a mistake, but I'm surprised nobody noticed before serving it. If I had known earlier, we might have sent it back. But the service was so exceptional, warm, and personal I hesitate to complain about anything. I'm definitely planning to return.

We had a delicious meal and excellent service at LeMadri. Each meal begins with a delicious eggplant caponata. We had dishes ranging from pasta to fish to lamb and everybody was extremely satisfied. I'd recommend this place if you like good italian food. The atmosphere is just okay, with tables with crisp linen and a very simple decor. But the food made the meal and I would return here.
Le Madri's food is excellent! The waitstaff has got to get their act together! It was 10-15 min. after we were seated before anyone even came to the table! The head waiter had to keep running after the waiters to make sure they delivered the food to the correct table. Obviously everyone there was new and inexperienced. We found out after we ordered, a bit later, that they had specials. No one told us about them!
Once we ordered, the food came a bit too quickly after we got our salads. The salads were delicious and the entrees were both excellent! My sister had the snapper which was prepared in a Livornese sauce with purple mashed potatoes and a vegetable. She said it was "wonderful"! My veal Saltimboca was perfectly prepared with prosciutto, and served with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. The food saved the whole experience! The staff needs to reorganize and train their waitstaff properly and learn what must be done to improve the service overall. Otherwise, I would recommend this restaurant.
