   The Peninsula is a beautiful venue. My family loves high tea and I made a reservation for 5 of us. The staff was outstanding, but the food was disappointing. Currently the Lobby restaurant’s high tea is featuring a vegan service. I would have preferred being given the option of either this vegan service or a more traditional tea. I have had high tea in Hong Kong and Beverly Hills Peninsula Hotels and the food was outstanding. Here, not so much. I was disappointed. My grandson ordered a hamburger—excellent!

   Don’t make the mistake not to go. World class service and food. Ambiance is indescribable. Top floor of hotel has a beautiful terrace bar as well.

   No service and the wine was not served. The waiter just opened the bottle and left it on our table to serve our selves. The quality of food was too bad. The burrata was like an expired cheese and it’s almost hard to call the Waiter as they were not coming early our table.

   Service was terrible, didn’t get our appetizer and the entree was mediocre at best. The sea bass was the only good thing we had here.

    Lobby at Peninsula seemed like a smart place to get outstanding food. But the food is so disappointing... the RibEye steak is not fit for eating — comes almost look like it was fried rather than grilled or seared and all fatty. The Elba dessert taste like baby food with favor of rose water or saffron. It’s a shame since the location has potential and bar next door looks busy and has potential. Maybe next time we will try the Asian restaurant Lilly next door. If not, there are much better choices in Paris.
