Michelin-starred Le Jardinier is a unique and refined restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli located in The Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

Rooted in timeless French approach, Chef Verzeroli has created a menu where plants play a prominent role: seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, and greens are complemented by wild and sustainable fish with local Texas meats. All our breads are gluten-free and baked in house.

Le Jardinier's light-filled space will evoke a feeling of relaxed-luxury and incorporate custom art pieces with outdoor dining set within an Isamu Noguchi-designed sculpture garden. In 2024, Le Jardinier was awarded one Michelin Star at Texas' Inaugural Michelin Guide.

    The service was spotty both with taking orders and with explaining the offerings on service .The sommelier was excellent.The lamb was excellent but the salmon was overcooked.The wagu beef for 2 came out as a single serving confusing us as it was to be prepared and divided in the kitchen. This was our first disappointing visit to Le Jardinier. Prior to this visit we had always ordered the price fixed offering .Our a la carte experience left something to be desired

    Food and service were impeccable. A perfect place for a special occasion at this Michelin starred restaurant.

    The level of quality service, attention to detail and amazing food reaffirm why this restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. We went for brunch and loved it. Highly recommend the deviled eggs and the whipped burrata as appetizers. For our main course we shared the Eggs on Eggs and the Lobster Eggs Benedict. The wine list is impressive, but they also have very good cocktails, like the Maple Barrel (peach infused Bourbon).

    Le Jardinier was a great experience! Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. Our server, Fleming, was 10/10!

    This is a very special place with a beautiful setting. The booths are comfortable but the chairs are had to move on the carpet. The food is creative and delicious and the speciality drinks fun to explore. The summer artist menu is a way to try a few things without breaking the bank.

    A beautifully presented dinner. Everything we ordered was perfection. Service was top notch. A wonderful elevated evening that didn’t miss a beat!

    Although this restaurant should deserve Michelin’s 3 stars, I was surprised this fabulous place received only one star. My experience has been limited to four visits. The food I have tasted were delicious with stunning innovations and visual beauty. The atmosphere is an extension of the museum’s sophistication. I usually prefer a tablecloth for formality, but the furniture is a great match with the rest of decor, without tablecloth, enhancing appetite. Servers were pleasant, intelligent, and friendly. I thought they had undergone a professional training for restaurant serving. To my surprise they are college students or having other goals. Finally, the price is not low, but well worth coming back.

    The experience was disappointing. The wagyu entree of the 5 course menu was terribly hard to chew. Definitely didn’t worth the $195 price tag We also ordered the $30 dollars Foie Gras appetizer and it didn’t taste like Foie Gras at all. It was overloaded with a blackberry topping and tasted more like a $30 fruit tart. The wine pairing of the 5 course menu was outstanding. Definitely not going back.

    Food took 2 hours to get 3/5 courses, lobster overdone. Bread cold and hard Not sure why they have 1 Michelin Star Servers nice tho

    What a wonderful experience. I have nothing but good things to say about Le Jardinier from the food to the atmosphere to the service. It was wonderful all the way around. My only critique was with the squid ink shellfish ravioli. The ravioli itself was wonderful, but the sauce it was served atop was not a flavor particularly enjoyed. I think a little more of a savory addition to the sauce would’ve made the dish more enjoyable in my opinion!
