   Turns out Le Dock isn't open for lunch even though I booked my reservation here. When the restaurant canceled the reservation, I called to find out why. The person was matter of fact. Not apologetic that my plan was ruined. I rearranged my day and went for dinner instead. Slow service even though there were only five tables being served. Finished my cocktail long before I was asked if I wanted another. Empty appetizer plates sat for about ten minutes. Not what I was expecting from a Jean Georges restaurant. Won't got back. Wouldn't recommend.

   It was a nice little surprise tucked away in fire island. The ambiance was quaint and cozy.. and the food was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and we also had the simply cooked shrimp which scrumptious. The portions were great sizes and The Gin mint martinis are not to be missed!

   It is the end of the season on Fire Island, so a few items on the menu weren't available. However the cocktails and food was top notch, and with most of the summer folks gone it was delightfully quiet. An excellent evening.

   My wife and I had a stellar evening on our 10th wedding Anniversary at Le Dock. From the gracious reception to the friendly, attentive service, fantastic cocktails & delicious food... all together made for a fantastic night for both of us.

   Somewhat overpriced considering all aspects of the experience, food, service, and ambience. But still elevated compared to the options on the island. Dinner for our family with two children came to $65 per person. Mussels and crispy salmon appetizers were the highlights.

   Really delicious but too pricey to make a habit out of going weekly like we used to in previous summers before. Once a summer will have to be fine.

   It's the one game in town so if you want to go out, it's to The Dock. Food is good, portions are small. I'd go more often but there's a sewage smell when you walk into the restaurants from the bathrooms. This last time I smelled it well inside the restaurant. I usually try to eat outdoors for this reason. But there were green flies all day at the beach and we needed protection and air conditioning. The ac wasn't on. I'm done for the summer!

   Enjoyed our meals -- and our waiter, but the noise level is through the roof! Would have liked *a green salad other than the kale salad offered *bigger portions -- the calimari, the fish entrees Le Dock is in a summer community, and the prices are way too high for "grabbing a bite" after the beach!

    The menu was very limited. The fish of the day was superb but for the 3 non fish eaters with me, there was little to order. Very limited choice of salads too.
