   We love the setting of this wonderful restaurant. Each time we come the attention to detail is important. For us it is a special ocassion restaurant. The ribs were and cripy vegetable rolls were done perfectly. The seabass was delicious and the shrimp stir fry were very good. We also enjoyed the sticky rice and the eggplant. We will continue to come back trying one new dish each time to come. The service was very good and we had delicious wine.

   Delicious snapper for two, beautiful presentation, fabulous curry and scrumptious chicken fried rice. Accommodated gluten free, best cosmos.

   Great food. Not very welcoming but then I guess they don’t need to be. Should recognize repeat local customers but again they don’t need to.

   I have been to this restaurant a number of times, always pleased. The food is good, as is the service. This time, I was bringing a friend there for the first time. I made a reservation on the patio, where I have always chosen to sit. We were seated at the far end with no shade, no overhead fans. My friend was hot, there was a lot of street noise (under the fans, I never before noticed it) and it was very buggy, also due to the lack of fans. My friend asked if we could sit inside and she was told no. We had walked through the restaurant to get outside and had seen a number of empty tables. When we left, we again walked through the restaurant and saw a number of empty tables. Were we seated at a less desirable table, leaving other tables open for other diners who might come in? Neither of us appreciated the lack of accommodation and I do not know if I will return to Le Colonial any time soon, if ever.
