The food was excellent. We ordered 2 small plates but they had a lot of food per plate and were both excellent. The main courses were very good and the amount of food was abundant. Overall it was a very nice dining experience and we will go back.

First, the food at this restaurant is awesome! We ordered from the small plates part of the menu and shared everything. Our favorites were the yellowfin tuna tartare, the sesame beef “ravioli,” and the baby back ribs. We enjoyed the Lychee and Old Cuban cocktails as well. Secondly, the service was outstanding and professional. Thirdly, we were seated in the dining room and the atmosphere was just as I would imagine in a fancy restaurant in tropical east Asia. The decor was beautiful. The sound level was good as well. We could hear each other easily but there was enough background noise to give the place some energy. Fourth, it is expensive but it is a special place and of course that costs more.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Their cocktails are beautiful and delicious. Le Colonial is one of my all time favorites.

Overall we had a nice experience. Our server was excellent but it was very hard to hear due to a loud table next to us. I loved the food except for the pork roll appetizer. It was overcooked to the point of not being able to taste anything. They have a wonderful dessert menu and ours was wonderful.

One of our favorites restaurants ever. Every time it is as good as the last. Very consistent and excellent. We went twice on this trip to Chicago.

We had it been to the restaurant for several years and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, our servicer Dina gave us great suggestions as we were not familiar with the menu. We look forward to returning soon.

A great experience as always, but the prices have skyrocketed in the past month. A reasonably priced meal is suddenly very expensive. And the noise level in the Terrase room is unbearable. Still a favorite spot, but overpriced.
