Tucked away in a leafy corner of Maida Vale in north London, Le Cochonnet is every W9-denizen's favourite local gem. Located on the junction of Lauderdale and Castellain Roads near Elgin Avenue, this colourful Mediterranean eatery is always busy with local families and couples who adore the thin-crust pizzas, salads and delicious pasta dishes. The restaurant isn't far from the Paddington Recreation Ground making it ideal for post-tennis Pimms-and-pizza dates with friends. The buzzy vibe and bright décor here make you feel you're on a seaside holiday, and signature dishes include the fresh pumpkin and goat's cheese ravioli with sage butter; and the Fiorentina pizza made with spinach, olives, Parmesan and an egg.

Love this place for a local pizza restaurant. Although they were fairly slow bringing the wine.

Fabulous neighborhood canteen. So happy to live close-by, great vibe, friendly staff, and tasty comfort italian food!

It's probably the tenth time I've eaten at Le Coch. Great atmosphere as always. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good choice of food on offer and superbly cooked. My only tiny negative is that the time taken to serve the food was a little slow, other than that a great meal out and I will definitely be returning.

Le Cochonnet is a very nice local restaurant and definitely worth trying. Unfortunately on the evening we went service was extremely slow, apparently due to staff shortage. However, when the food did eventually arrive it was delicious. Would go back, but not if in a hurry!

Great service (even when we took *forever* to decide what to have), lovely pizza and make sure you leave room for the chocolate brownie!

We chose Le Cochonnet initially for its location. We met up with friends for a weekday lunch and, as we had limited time available, having an early afternoon appointment nearby, we opted for pizzas. The pizza menu is extensive and, judging from the choices which we made, including vegetarian options, the quality was very good, although we didn't have time to try anything on the wider menu. The service was pleasant and prompt and we all very much enjoyed our meal. I would recommend it.

Very cozy place tucked away in a quiet street of Maida Vale. A pleasent surprise to find a new place away from busy London streets. Would go again.
