   After spending a lovely Sunday afternoon, strolling through the Luxembourg gardens we were greeted at the most perfect little Paris bistro. We were offered a seat inside the restaurant or out on the patio. We chose inside the restaurant as smoking is allowed at all Paris restaurants. And on the streets. Just not inside restaurants in buildings. Service was perfectly relaxed and casual. One thing I learned is that we as Americans expect our check as soon as the dishes are cleared. However, that is not the custom here in Paris. The white staff will allow you to sit and linger as long as you want without bringing you a bill. For the most part around town the wait staff will leave you alone unless you raise your hand and flag them down. We may consider that rude behavior in the states, but that is the preferred method here on the continent. The food is excellent Bistro fair. My son smashed his cheeseburger in seconds flat. My wife said the fish burger rivaled anything she has it in Hawaii. The shoestring fries were hot and crispy. I had the quarter chicken. It was moist and tender and came with light and fluffy potatoes and a savory sauce. Open table lists the dress code as business casual, but the vibe and dress code was way more casual. I may not ever make it back to Paris , but if I do I will definitely eat at Le Choupinet again.

   Perfect spot to enjoy a quality lunch near the park and close to Latin Quarter! Sat on the patio, and tight tables and a smoking was only drag.

   We had a wonderful dinner! Food was excellent and it’s not often you find frogs legs on the menu. Drinks were great and our server Valentina was excellent and absolutely lovely. We had a great time .

   Fun place that you can goto if you are lonely and need company, they will supply a life size teddy bear to join you. Dinner should take a couple of hours. Super busy between 7:30-9:00pm. The bone marrow is a must!

   The spot is eclectic, and has a unique charm. They have some high-end items on the menu. I struggled to enjoy my truffle butter, but saying that, I’m really not sure how they both keep it fresh and soft enough to use and so that did not affect my rating. We found medium rare in Paris to be anything but medium… And so we started ordering our steaks medium… And that worked well for us except at this location the steak arrived as well done. It was a good cut of meat and well seasoned and so it wasn’t the end of the world. The other problem I had is similar to many other places, they are likely understaffed through no fault of their own, and therefore service was abundantly slow. The quality of service was good, it just left us wanting throughout the evening. I would recommend this restaurant and I would go back a second time in hopes that the service and food consistency would go from 4 to 5 stars

    I did not love the giant teddy bear taking up room on our tiny table. The server was good once she got to us but it took a very long time for her to come to our table.

    It was terrible. Waiting 15 minutes for drinks to be ordered and then Another 30 for them to be brought to table. Had to ask for food menu even though we had reservation for dinner. Then was never asked what we would like. Finally asked for the check and was asked if we wanted to add a tip. Very dissatisfied

    Le Choupinet was amazing and such a great find! Our dinner started with cocktails. The cocktail menu was very diverse which was nice and the ones we chose were excellent. Try the French Touch, it was so light and tasty. The perfect cocktail to start dinner. They have a lot of choices to select from on the menu and everything we had to eat was wonderfully prepared. Also, throughout dinner the service was excellent. The waitress was very speedy and attentive and offered help with the menu if needy. When asked for suggestions for desert she suggested an amazing fondant which was to die for. So warm and chocolaty on the inside with vanilla ice cream to go along. The perfect way to end the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is also very classical French and fun for a night out in the city. We will absolutely return many times to this restaurant, especially given the very reasonable prices.

    We brought our 11 month old daughter and the service was horrendous. They started welding/ sawing metal on a kitchen door which was very loud and caused sparks and caused my daughter to become hysterical and crying because she was scared. No one came over to explain or tell us what was happening or apologise. We left after our starters and said they shouldn’t do that during service and she said oh he was late there’s nothing we could do. Didn’t even offer to lower the bill or anything. Never again.

    We had an excellent evening. My boyfriend and I had a great time! Our table was very intimate. 10/10 for the atmosphere! The staff was friendly, and everyone spoke very good English. The snails and the tuna tartar were very good, as were the shrimps and the scallops. For dessert, we shared a huge homemade chocolate mousse. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Probably the best restaurant we went to in Paris. See you soon! We will come back on our next vacation :)

    Although our food was not hot, just above room temp, the taste was amazing. It would’ve been truly superb if it would’ve been hot. So I would definitely recommend this place because the taste was amazing! And they had amazing service. Our server was awesome and kept checking on us regularly. I didn’t bring up the cold food since it tasted good.

    We loved this place! We stumbled up on it as we were walking around for crepes and coffee, not realizing we already had a reservation for the following night. The service was great, the food was great and you must get the escargot! 10/10!

    The Croque Monsieur was to die for. The tuna tartare was delish but a huge portion. The hamburger was one of the best we had anywhere in Paris. Would go back anytime. Loved it!!

    Fun space with great decor, excellent service, and fantastic food. Hope we can return on our next trip! Definitely recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert.
