As always, the food and atmosphere are amazing. The drinks were exceptional and our meals were very enjoyable. A special thank you to Levi, who assisted us many times during our meal as our dedicated server was a little overwhelmed with several other tables. Levi was there whenever we needed anything and was always smiling (even under the mask) and very professional! He really made our evening! The deck was beautiful and the lights of the marina added to the romance! This was the perfect place to share our anniversary!
We love the food and the view of the harbor from our table. Our birthday girl was so happy. The restaurant even accommodated some requests from their dinner menu during lunch. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Given the current covid situation, my group was not comfortable dining inside. As Le Bilboquet does not take reservations for outdoor seating, I emailed the day before our reservation asking if it would be possible to ensure we could sit outside. I was assured that they would accommodate us if possible, but no guarantee. When we arrived we were told that there was no availability to be seated outside and we could not even wait for outside as all tables were booked for the evening. They let us choose between two tables by the door. When we left after our meal, there were no less than 5 four-tops outside that had not had anyone seated in them all night. To say that we could not sit outside while we watched these table sit empty for our entire dinner was infuriating. Had these tables all been filled I would have no issue though how can you book tables you don’t take reservations for?
Be prepared to be treated like a second class citizen if you’re not in with the billionaire class. Great food, lovely staff, but forget about getting a good table or a prime reservation time.
MY FAVORITE 'get pampered' restaurant in Sag Harbor or even in The Hamptons. The position, the wait staff, the ambiance, the view... like traveling to a beautiful island, or French Riviera... do you need a break? Dress up a bit and go to Bilbo.

We booked our table way in advance for a friend's birthday had requested outside seating this was however not available when we got there they said outside was for friends and family only which is ridiculous ... definitely way too expensive for the experience...m a nice place to go for a drink if possible but most likely won't go there again ...very pretentious

Things to not like: long waits to be seated, impossible to get a table, long waits for food, hit and miss service.
I'm torn while leaving this review. While I've had great meals at this restaurant in the past, they make it very hard to get in touch or make a reservation. In addition, last time I was here our entrees never arrived...we waited 45min and no entrees so we asked for the bill and left.... and they didnt even comp our drinks, we left hungry.

Food was ok but quite pricey.... not much attention from waiter. We were very late because GPS was confused with the address. Disappointed that we did not get an outdoor table also not much dessert menu selection
Awful service. Rude, arrogant wait staff. The food was decent, but for the price it’s didn’t wow me. The food definitely didn’t make up for the attitude of the service and being treated so poorly.

I cannot explain how impressed I was with my experience at le bilboquet this past week. I made an 8:30PM reservation, arrived at 8:10PM and was seated immediately. We were in a huge rush to make our flight from East Hampton Airport at 9PM and kindly advised our server Vlad. We ordered the NY Prime Steak (Medium Rare), Burrata, Crab Avocado and Tuna Tartare. I am not exaggerating when I say that the drinks and all food items were on the table by 8:20PM, prepared and cooked to perfection. I am not normally one to write reviews but this level of service is something that I have not experienced in many years of being a guest and working in hospitality for over 15 years. We left le Bilboquet at 8:45PM and made our 9PM flight. I wish we could have stayed longer but our experience was outstanding nonetheless.
Management/Ownership, you should be so impressed by Vlad and the rest of your team and they should be highly commended for their level of service, professionalism and hospitality.
The food was delicious, the service was stellar, but the real reason to come here is the ambience. We sat outside on a late summer evening and were surrounded by the boats of Sag Harbor. So pretty.
RESTAURANT DID NOT PROVIDE CHAMPAGNE GLASSES, THE WAITER DID NOT EVEN BRING ME AN OYSTER FORK, I HAD TO REQUEST IT.
The service was terrible. Our table was shamed for ordering tap water instead of still or sparkling, even though tap is what most people ordered, including every table surrounding our table. According to our waiter, it was dirty Long Island tap water. He was extremely rude.
The burrata was pretty basic with their cherry tomatoes. The salmon, veal, and vegetarian dishes were excellent. However, the food did not make me forget our waiter’s despicable behavior.
My dining experience there was absolutely wonderful as always! As far as your rating for value, value should be rated High because you are really getting what you're paying for. So, you do not mind the pricing!
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. I had a reservation on September 4 which I made on open table. The day before my reservation I got an email to reconfirm and saw that it said NO OUTSIDE SEATING. I got very upset and tried calling the restaurant but nobody Ever picks up the phone, which already shows bad service. So I wrote them a message on open table asking about it and said that I really didn’t notice the message about outside seating. I said I was very uncomfortable seating inside the restaurant given what’s going on now. We were celebrating our anniversary and I would appreciate being accommodated . I never got a response to my message and decided to go there earlier. My reservation was for 8:15 and we got there at 6:45 hoping that the host would be understanding. I got there and explained the whole situation to the host whos name was Martin to which he said. OH YES I SAW YOUR MESSAGE WHEN I GOT TO WORK TODAY. I asked why he never answered me? To which he said I was too busy. I asked him nicely to please do something for us because at that point it was too late to make a reservation somewhere else. He was being very arrogant had an attitude like I’m a nobody and said “I HAVE PEOPLE WHO DINE WITH US 2 TO 3 TIMES A WEEK, AND THEY ARE A PRIORITY. I know each restaurant holds tables for their own people, but you don’t say something like that to a customer and put someone else above them. That was disgusting and unprofessional. He also started a conversation with someone else while I was talking to him and completely ignored me. After a long wait, he said I can try to seat you at 9pm but it’s also not guaranteed. We got the worst table, food was not good and wasn’t worth waiting. This guy has no business working there and talking down to people he feels are not his customers. My husband wanted to tip him and he said NO I CANT DO THIS. BUT HE TOOK MONEY FROM SOMEONE WRIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. EVERYONE SHOULD BE TREATED THE SAME.
