Awful service. Rude, arrogant wait staff. The food was decent, but for the price it’s didn’t wow me. The food definitely didn’t make up for the attitude of the service and being treated so poorly.

I cannot explain how impressed I was with my experience at le bilboquet this past week. I made an 8:30PM reservation, arrived at 8:10PM and was seated immediately. We were in a huge rush to make our flight from East Hampton Airport at 9PM and kindly advised our server Vlad. We ordered the NY Prime Steak (Medium Rare), Burrata, Crab Avocado and Tuna Tartare. I am not exaggerating when I say that the drinks and all food items were on the table by 8:20PM, prepared and cooked to perfection. I am not normally one to write reviews but this level of service is something that I have not experienced in many years of being a guest and working in hospitality for over 15 years. We left le Bilboquet at 8:45PM and made our 9PM flight. I wish we could have stayed longer but our experience was outstanding nonetheless.
Management/Ownership, you should be so impressed by Vlad and the rest of your team and they should be highly commended for their level of service, professionalism and hospitality.
The food was delicious, the service was stellar, but the real reason to come here is the ambience. We sat outside on a late summer evening and were surrounded by the boats of Sag Harbor. So pretty.
RESTAURANT DID NOT PROVIDE CHAMPAGNE GLASSES, THE WAITER DID NOT EVEN BRING ME AN OYSTER FORK, I HAD TO REQUEST IT.
The service was terrible. Our table was shamed for ordering tap water instead of still or sparkling, even though tap is what most people ordered, including every table surrounding our table. According to our waiter, it was dirty Long Island tap water. He was extremely rude.
The burrata was pretty basic with their cherry tomatoes. The salmon, veal, and vegetarian dishes were excellent. However, the food did not make me forget our waiter’s despicable behavior.
My dining experience there was absolutely wonderful as always! As far as your rating for value, value should be rated High because you are really getting what you're paying for. So, you do not mind the pricing!
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. I had a reservation on September 4 which I made on open table. The day before my reservation I got an email to reconfirm and saw that it said NO OUTSIDE SEATING. I got very upset and tried calling the restaurant but nobody Ever picks up the phone, which already shows bad service. So I wrote them a message on open table asking about it and said that I really didn’t notice the message about outside seating. I said I was very uncomfortable seating inside the restaurant given what’s going on now. We were celebrating our anniversary and I would appreciate being accommodated . I never got a response to my message and decided to go there earlier. My reservation was for 8:15 and we got there at 6:45 hoping that the host would be understanding. I got there and explained the whole situation to the host whos name was Martin to which he said. OH YES I SAW YOUR MESSAGE WHEN I GOT TO WORK TODAY. I asked why he never answered me? To which he said I was too busy. I asked him nicely to please do something for us because at that point it was too late to make a reservation somewhere else. He was being very arrogant had an attitude like I’m a nobody and said “I HAVE PEOPLE WHO DINE WITH US 2 TO 3 TIMES A WEEK, AND THEY ARE A PRIORITY. I know each restaurant holds tables for their own people, but you don’t say something like that to a customer and put someone else above them. That was disgusting and unprofessional. He also started a conversation with someone else while I was talking to him and completely ignored me. After a long wait, he said I can try to seat you at 9pm but it’s also not guaranteed. We got the worst table, food was not good and wasn’t worth waiting. This guy has no business working there and talking down to people he feels are not his customers. My husband wanted to tip him and he said NO I CANT DO THIS. BUT HE TOOK MONEY FROM SOMEONE WRIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. EVERYONE SHOULD BE TREATED THE SAME.

Great service. Waited was excellent. Beautiful dining room with nice outside dining. Great experience. Highly recommend. Pricey but well worth it for a special occasion.
So I’m really torn over this place. The food is very good, we’ve been several times and liked it a lot. Service at the table is decent with the waiters being attentive but food coming out a little too fast.
My disappointment is in the host stand and table seating. I totally get that it’s a hot place in the summer and on busy weekend nights they want to be exclusive. My issue is coming on a Monday or Tuesday, when it’s not busy, and they actively give crappy tables and then are obnoxious about it when asking to change. This interaction with the host (which I’ve had 3 times) then makes the whole night different - even if they do the right thing in the end. Please reconsider this approach.

Food was excellent, slightly over priced but delicious. Restaurant itself was very beautiful, and they did a great job with health precautions due to COVID. Any reservations made on open table were only allowed to seat indoors which we didn't realize at first. Outdoors are reserved for special guests only it seemed.

The service and food overall were very good. I would recommend going for lunch. It's much less crowded and the atmosphere is beautiful.
The meal and server was excellent but the host was EXTREMELY rude and should not be working the front desk. He was an absolution off and should be fired!
Great food service and ambiance
Although we mentioned we had seniors in our party and preferred outdoors plus we were there 20 prior to our booking time it took a lot of persuading from our daughter with the hostess to get us An outside table. The waiters however were excellent!
