   I visited LB Steakhouse for Mother’s Day and unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations for such a special occasion. The steak I ordered was extremely fatty, making it difficult to enjoy. The sides—spinach and Brussels sprouts—were dry and lacked seasoning, which added to the disappointment. For a holiday like Mother’s Day, I expected a more thoughtful atmosphere, perhaps live music or something to make the experience feel festive and celebratory, but there was none of that. Overall, it felt like just another dinner out rather than a meaningful dining experience.

   Mother’s Day service was great. Food was just ok. Unfortunately went for brunch which the website advertised without navigation. No brunch buffet available. Too late to just drop in elsewhere. Should specify excluding Mother’s Day and or Holidays.

   Some of the best steak I’ve had in the bay area. Definitely give it a shot if you’re in the area for a mouth watering piece of red meat. I got the rib eye and it was superb.

   We recently attended your weekend brunch with a 2:15 PM reservation. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, most of the food had been sitting out for some time and was cold. Staples like creamed spinach and sausage were completely gone, and we were told that no more food would be brought out. Throughout the visit, we felt rushed and as though we were an inconvenience, despite the fact that we paid the same $65 per person as every other guest that day. While we understand we were the last table and the restaurant was otherwise empty, we still expected to feel welcomed and valued—not like an afterthought. Regrettably, this experience left us disappointed, and we won’t be returning for brunch. At this price point, we hoped for better hospitality and fresher offerings. We would not recommend the brunch to others.

   3 of the steaks were not cooked to our desired color. Which meant we could not eat together. They didn't offer to comp any of meals or dessert. I will not be going there ever again!

   We had a great experience, except for the Tomahawk ribeye. Service was great, sides, appetizers and dessert were wonderful. But the tomahawk steak was average at best. It had decent flavor, but was rubbery and hard to chew. Wouldn’t recommend the tomahawk.

    I was delighted to find out that my favorite local steakhouse was starting a weekend brunch buffet. Coincidentally, we were looking for a place to have our anniversary lunch and found out that LB had started having a weekend brunch buffet featuring bottomless mimosas and a full range of favorites, including tender sliced beef tenderloin, skirt steak, oysters on the half-shell and big succulent prawns with a chipotle-style cocktail sauce, along with the egg/omelet bar, pancakes, bacon, roasted potatoes, fresh salads, fruit and pastries. We had a very nice meal, took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the leisurely self-paced dining and visiting style of the buffet (yes, we did take 3 hours....) Our server ANA was friendly and helpful, and she even volunteered to take our photos to celebrate our anniversary. Since this buffet was only in its 3rd weekend, it wasn't very crowded, but as word gets out, I think it will become more popular. This buffet offers a great way to enjoy the delicious food and service this restaurant provides. Will definitely be back!
