I very much enjoyed the volcanic stone experience as this is quite unusual and the quality of the meat and fish cuts were indeed very good. However booking via opentable meant we were not informed that the restaurant is not licensed until we arrived...... my hubby had to run out in the rain to find the ‘corner shop’ to buy us a bottle of wine for the table. I also expected at least some of the desserts to be made on the premises, but I recognised them all as frozen desserts from our local catering supplier ‘Bookers’ so I declined the offer of desserts as I was expecting something a little more if I’m honest. However the food we did elect to have was really lovely, the Tuna and the Lamb Rump, but I think I would only dine there for the main course in future. Service was very friendly.

Amazing food, always best to pre order just to make sure what you want hasn't all gone by the time of your booking. Can be very warm in the restaurant on a hot day - mainly due to the heat from the stones. Service brilliant - jacket potatoes the nicest I've ever had!
