   This restaurant’s hours have changed and they are only serving breakfast now. The restaurant was closed when we got there.

   This restaurant is permanently closed, which I didn't discover until I showed up at the location! But somehow, I was able to book a reservation through Open Table. And then Open Table requests me to write a review?

   Excellent service in a sparkling clean upscale, comfortable environment. We were underdressed and tired, Michelle set us at ease with impeccable service. The food was outstanding and I am particular. A quiet retreat in a busy city.

   A limited menu was available due to some kitchen issues. The food that was ordered was outstandingly good. Excellent salmon crudo, fried mitaki mushrooms and the potato salad tasted unexpectedly great. The service was quick and attentive. I’m impressed and would return.

   Burger was raw, fries soggy, service really late ( served customers who came in after we did) drink tasted watered down. Wait staff said they were having trouble with bartender and kitchen….

   Unbelievably bad service. 10 min wait for a menu. Another 10 to be asked if we wanted WATER - then it took all three wait staff to find a bottle of Perrier. We tried to order a bottle of white wine and were informed that there was NO WHITE WINE - either in bottle or by the glass. That was later corrected by a more knowledgeable waiter. The preparation of the ‘Gulf fish of the day’ was complete wrong - other than the type of fish. The seafood pasta was basically linguine in a fishy sauce; the seafood was AWOL. When we arrived, there were 7 tables (including those at the bar) and 3 waitstaff yet they were flustered, incompetent and oblivious to the those waiting to order. The only saving grace was the salad. Otherwise easily the worst dining experience.

    Where to start? I guess at the beginning. When we walked in, we were not “greeted”, but instead aggressively asked “do you have a reservation?” - no hello, no smile, no welcome. It didn’t get better. Yes, we did have a reservation and we were seated. But that was it. No water, no menus, no server to say “I’ll be right with you…” Nothing. For 20 long minutes. The restaurant was not at capacity, nor was the bar - I would say about half full. We watched 3 people working very hard, but spinning their wheels: overwhelmed bartender who looked like he was going to cry, the “greeter” was also bussing tables and running food, and one server for the whole place. We gave up. As we left our seats to find dinner elsewhere, the gentleman at the table next to us miserably said “you are making the right call”. Indeed.
