   Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our meals were served promptly and with a smile. I had the small seafood mezze plate which was excellent followed by the Seafood Chowder, one of the best I have had . I will be back to Latitude 30 again next year on my return to Coffs Harbour to try other meals on their menu

   I don’t normally write reviews however felt feedback was required in this instance……..Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to dine at Latitude 30. So this is NOT a review of the quality of food. After having booked our table of 11 - 5 weeks in advance, when I called to add extra people to the booking 9 days prior to our booking date, I was told “they had been meaning to call me” (but hadn’t), to let me know lunch on the Easter holiday weekend was a mandatory 3 course set menu at $90 per person for tables 8 and above. I advised the gentleman I was speaking with, we had not been told this. In a nut shell he said “oh well you know with staff shortages due to COVID and training issues I had not been told at the time of booking but there was nothing he could do, so he was sorry, but did I still want to go ahead?” I said it appeared I had no option as we wouldn’t be able to get a booking anywhere else over Easter at such late notice. Needless to say once we considered the manner in which the situation was handled, I called back and cancelled the booking. Our booking was for mine and my partners birthdays - we were a group of locals, the majority frequently dine at Latitude 30 and have done so for many many years. We had people in our group that had special dietary requirements and a child who simply could not have eaten a set 3 course menu. I get COVID has been a challenging time for many - particularly hospitality businesses, however the staff members attitude seemed to be one of suck it up sunshine - I can treat you with disregard as COVID has given me a reason to do so and your booking will be filled in no time. COVID is no longer an excuse to not treat customers in a respectful manner. Maybe when the opportunity arises for staff training “respectful communication” can be on the agenda. A side note to the owner - the review request came through in Japanese - lucky I can speak a bit of the language.

   My friends and I enjoyed a perfect lunch with good food and excellent service from our young waitress who went out of her way to accommodate us. We decided we must come again...

   100% recommend! Best food in Coffs! Amazing food, everything was cooked perfectly and the meals came out with-in a reasonable time. Happy friendly staff.

   What we had - Mixed Oyster plate - devine, Flat bread - scrummie, Fried Squid which wasn't spicy hot at all but we thought it might be, it was sweet and tastie, Scollops - well they were out of this world! Finished off with Lemongrass & Ginger Creme Brulee - although nice and tastie it was a little grainy and runny . Overall a fantastic Wedding Anniversary Lunch. Would highly recommend.

   T Waited 20 mins before i called someone over to get our drink order so v poor service Would b great to have gluten free options on the menu save having to wait even longer to order food Staff were helpful and professional but feel the restaurant could not cope with the volume of people Thanks
