L’ATELIER de Joël Robuchon
We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close both our restaurants, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and Le Club, to prioritize the health and safety of our team, our guests, and our community.
We are learning new information daily, and we will continue to evaluate the best path forward.

Seated at the kitchen counter. Wonderful service. Food out of this world. We made our own tasting menu sharing 5 items. Saved $100 or more. Total bill for two including 2 drinks and 3 glasses of wine and one dessert and tip $385. Totally worth it!
Amazing from start to finish. From the greeting at the door, to the service and food. Everyone was so welcoming and made our night very special. We choose to order from the a la carte and order several items from the small portion and main courses. Delicious! The manager even brought us into the kitchen to meet Chef and the team. Thank you, we will be back soon!
Well deserved stars. World class from start to finish.
Flawless! What they create is amazing and an absolute art form of culinary delight. Thank you for doing it!
L’Atelier service was impeccable. Came for a birthday dinner and reserved a seat at the bar. Had the best bottle of wine and amazing service. They were able to cook for a vegan (and not just a salad) and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back.
Outstanding food and service
This is my new favorite fine dining restaurant. Everything is exceptional from the service to dessert.
Such a beautiful restaurant! We had the Evolution and even added the Black Truffle Spaghetti. Perfect dining experience. We love the counter and watching the Chef's work their magic. The Staff is very professional, friendly, and great personality! Thank you to everyone who made our night special!
the cost is very high and its concept is food run nothing to do
Very different place, service and attention from Las Vegas
poor hygiene cook with hands without gloves
Incredible dining experience. Perfect for a special occasion. Food is delicious, flavorful, creative, and unique. Service is impeccable. It is a fun experience to look into the open kitchen and makes the restaurant feel fun and modern despite it being upscale. Highly recommend.
Much more better than Alan du Casa in Monaco 🇲🇨 The best restaurant in New y
What a lovely experience! We came with a party of five and ordered everything family style. The server and sommelier took great care of us, coursing everything out perfectly and pairing beautiful wines. Thank you so much to everyone!
Bravo! Beautiful meal from start to finish. Lovely staff and exceptional food. Nothing beats L'Atelier. We always have such a wonderful time.
Never disappoints. Amazing experience every time.
A fantastic dining experience. There was nothing that wasn’t excellent. Four of us dined from 9:00 to 12:00 and we each had a variety of dishes from the Winter Menu. The service was just perfect.
Another evening of JR genius. Amazing food, stunning presentation and an ultra warm and friendly staff. This is truly top notch. This time we sat at the bar, in Paris we were at a table. It was a fun experience watching the masterful Chef Christophe and his team do their magic. Cannot wait to return!
The food, wine list, service and ambiance are all wonderful and the restaurant is well deserving of its Michelin stars. Be forewarned, however, that the prices are rather steep. Nevertheless, it is evident that people are willing to pay the prices as the restaurant was quite full. For some reason, our service was a bit slow. If those are the only complaints, I can live with it happily.
Wonderful, again. Have eaten here several times. Always excellent. Love that we can put together our own "tasting menu" from the choices of smaller and larger plates.
Spectacular! One of the best restaurants in the world! Thank you to the Chef and all staff who made this experience over the top.
Anniversary
This is the quintessential NY drinking and dining experience with gorgeous surroundings, an attractive and ever attentive wait staff that was adept at adjusting to our theater curtain time, and incredibly delicious food. Go, you’re going to love it. BTW, our party was diverse from every demographic perspective- age, race, sexual preference and we all felt welcome and well served. As the oldest in the group, 72, l was treated like l was as much a hipster as the guests half my age. I’d say that L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon is as fun and complete an experience out in NYC that a group could have. I’m putting together my next list of guests to take. If this sounds like a too good to be true review, l assure you, it’s heartfelt and honest.

Fantastic! The server helped guide us through the menu where we could make our own tasting menu from the small portion section. Everything we ate was delicious! Very welcoming staff from the moment we walked in until leaving. We had the sommelier pair wines by the glass for each course. This place deserves three stars!
Unforgettable and truly outstanding.
Extremely creative with amazing flavors. Not cheap but worth the price.
From the food to the service, our experience at L'Atelier was incredible. The staff was so friendly and personal. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of Champagne that the Sommelier recommended followed by a lovely Burgundy. We had the evolution menu, each course was more impressive after the other. Flavors I would not have imagined. Thank you to everyone who made our night special. We will be back very soon!
I like everything about this restaurant. The food bar seating for single diners and deuces is very welcoming. The dinner started out with an amazing amuse buche of 2 foams, a Parmesan cheese and blood orange foam , and a foie gras with creme fresche foam. Both were delicious. For the first course, I had the caviar and Alaskan King Crab appetizer which was served over a vanilla sauce with ginger, and more pieces of crabmeat mixed in the sauce. A very tasty combination of flavors. The main course was off the chart delicious. A Napoleon type dish of medium rare seared venison loin and seared foie gras served over perigourdine sauce with shaved black truffles. This was served with a side of potatoes purée. I almost had to fight the server who asked to clear my plate while I was finishing the last few drops of the sauce! For dessert I opted for the
Edleflower foam which was served over a lemon sorbet with fresh raspberry and I enjoyed watching the preparations in the kitchen from my seat at the bar.
This is a 2 Michelin star restaurant and the prices reflect that distinction. It’s still one of the best restaurants in New York. Can’t wait to return.
We had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was outstanding! Delicious food, superb service, beautiful restaurant! Excellent wine list!
Did the evolution. I would say the overall experience was great. The best was the main dish by far followed by the desserts. Couple dishes were mediocre such as the sea bass which was slightly overcooked and the lobster dish being not very tender. Ambiance was great. Would return for the a la carte experience.
It was an experience to remember. Classy yet personable service, and the multiple courses took you through a journey of flavors and foams and more. Best meal of our lives.
Beautiful experience ! One of my best!
We had the tasting menu and couldn’t be happier with all the flavors. Warm smile at the door. Server very attentive and knowledgeable!
Thank you again to the entire team. My wife and I will be back very soon!!
Inventive and flavorful. The frog leg fritters stand out in my mind, as does the pre-dessert of pineapples and lime. The only thing I didn’t like was being shown to the bar for a drink because our table wasn’t ready on time, then getting slow, rocky service (one drink 5+ minutes before the other), and then being hurried to close out and be seated before the other cocktail even arrives. If you’re going to make me wait in the bar, either serve my drinks quickly or let me at least try my drink before you rush me out. Other than that, it was exceptional.
Can't even begin to describe the wonderful time we had at L'Atelier last night. It was like being out partying with new best friends, each trying to thrill you with amazing food and wine. And the other guests were just as fun - we made new friends and swapped numbers. Three sets of new friends even split an over the top Bordeaux as the evening progressed. That kind of place and night. Something about "sitting at a bar" generates that kind of interraction. Truly deserves it's two stars, actually more based on some others with similar ratings.
Overall quite disappointing.
From start to end, our diner was pure bliss. the lovely ladies guesting us, our Maitre d' Joe, attentive to every question, the cuisinier curieux, Chef Philippe who leads one of the best kitchen brigades in the world and delivers delicious dishes, flavorful and visually creative
Thank you for the birthday treats from card to candle lit dessert. We will come back soon. Bravo a tous / Hats off to all. Daniel L (02/15/2020)
The food here was great, well-executed and occasionally surprising, but what started out as a great dinner service slowly started to drag on to the point that we had to wait almost twenty minutes for a palate cleanser that was finished in less than two minutes. I'm not sure if they were overwhelmed by a full house but the slide into inattentiveness and an unreasonable wait is not what I would expect from a place with 2 Michelin stars and such a big price tag. I don't regret coming here, I'm glad that I was able to experience their Evolution menu, but I don't expect to return for fear of having another 3+ hour dinner that felt like it was mostly waiting and not eating.
Excellent experience - from ambiance and design to service, and to food - everything is artistic and impeccable. Highly recommend!
For a 2 Michelin star restaurant, this didn't even come close. Everything was annoying about this experience. I made a reservation for Valentines Day and gave a credit card as a deposit. The next day they call and leave a message where I have to call them back to confirm. (Super annoying behavior - this is precisely why I used an app for a reservation - so I don't have to play phone tag.) Then they don't answer their phone when I call back, so now I have reservation anxiety for our big night, did they cancel because they wouldn't answer?
They didn't cancel the reservation, but they should have. We were there for 45 minutes before someone took a drink order and just over an hour before the very first piece of food entered my mouth.
I asked them to speed it up several times, but kid you not we were half way through the menu at the three hour mark. Did they expect me to spend a full 8 hour work day there?
The restaurant wasn't even that packed, and they had a TON of staff, but our waitress was rude and the service got slower. I finally had to make a scene to get them to give us our check and we stormed out half way through the meal because we felt like they were holding us hostage.
The one bright spot was the sommelier, who tried to rescue the night for us, but to no avail.
Oh, and the food? It was fine. Nothing to write home about. Definitely not at the quality their ratings would indicate.
Avoid this spot, their high prices and their entitled attitude.
Food is decent but nothing extravagant for a Michelin 2 star restaurant, a little overpriced for the food quality. Good environment and service.
Very nice food!
A great experience, to break up the routine. I would recommend to anyone looking to have an amazing dinner.
