Fantastic- can’t say enough about our dinner. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful.
We went for my wife's birthday. They were able to accommodate her gluten-free allergy while we all enjoyed the tasting menu. I love the new location in New York which feels so much more like a Joel Robuchon restaurant than the earlier location with the open kitchen and bar seating where you can observe the preparations. We have had the pleasure of going to his restaurants in London, Hong Kong and Monaco all of which are outstanding. Glad that New York now has a real Joel Robuchon restaurant

This was not my first time at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon and it certainly will not be my last. From the moment you check in at reception you are guaranteed welcoming yet impeccable service. Once again, the entire wait staff could not have made our experience more pleasurable. The food is simply outstanding. The ambiance is one of the finest in NYC or anywhere. If you are looking for a knock your socks off dining experience for a special occasion look no further. For myself, I hope to make this one of my go to spots since we live a short walk away.
My family and I had Thanksgiving dinner here. We are big fans of Robuchon and the GM recognized my 12 year olds passion for the cuisine and invited us to the kitchen after our meal. Chef Alain spent 10-15 minutes with us and especially my 12 year old going thru some of the preparation and technique of his kitchen. It was an experience that my son will never forget. The meal was superb and the overall experience was befitting of what L'Atelier is all about. If you want a true culinary journey, I would highly recommend this and any Robuchon restaurant.
The much admired French chef Joël Robuchon tragically passed away a few months ago, but his namesake elegant restaurant L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, in Chelsea, under his hand selected staff, continues executing the unforgettable teachings of the great chef with precision and fidelity. Appetizers such as Les Langoustines and Le Ris de Veau are just as outstanding today as they were in the past. And if you are going to splurge on Le Caviar Imperial, or Les Spaghettis, with white truffle, there is not a better place anywhere.
Wine list under the capable sommelier Avril is outstanding and she is prepared to offer you suggestions for hard to discover glasses that would perfectly complement every dish that you choose. Service is efficient and unpretentious; and it particularly shines if you elect to seat at the elegant counter, rather than at the somewhat isolated tables.
Le Atelier de Joël Robuchon is the perfect place for celebrating a special occasion, or simply get together with close friends.
It was my second time to visit this location.
I loved the former location inside the Four Seasons Hotel, too.
I love all the food they serve.
This restaurant is my favorite in the world.
Their staff-members are polite and friendly.
Their price is kind of expensive even without drinking wine.
Coming to NYC is kind of special. So it is Okay for me about their price!

Last minute, quick bite between events. They accommodated our 55min time limit and the food was outstanding.
For a special occasion, this is definitely the place to go! It is expensive, but truly a memorable dining experience. The attention to detail is excellent and our dinner was finer than any restaurant we have visited in Paris. Best meal ever!

Super! Fantastic! Delicious! Two Stars were granted absolutely right. Food and presentation of food are awesome! Scallops, cod with caviar, foie gras, home made bread with cheese, mash potato, octopus - everything is tasty and delicious. Do not forget to order desert - Lychie sorbet with foam and Japanese green fruit - amazing. During dinner we observed kitchen processes , it's really a show. We received complimentary from chief to our anniversary - mango ice cream and it was also awesome.

La cena fue en la barra y la atención magnifica, tienen varios menús de degustación o puedes elaborar tu propio menú ya que en la carta hay la opción de platos en pequeñas porciones. La elaboración, la calidad de los platos y las presentaciones son magnificas, la carta de vino esta muy bien aunque la mayoría de las opciones son bastantes costosas con muy pocos vinos de valor intermedio. Muy recomendable para una cena en pareja.
This was very pleasurable! The Sommelier was very informative and helpful. The waitstaff was very good at the details of each course and the pacing was as close to perfect as you can get. A definite repeater!

This was no doubt the best mealI have ever had, every bite was incredibly delicious. The food was so beautifully presented it was almost a crime to eat it, but the taste matched the presentation. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive and engaging, yet unobtrusive. A special thank you to the bartender who whipped up an alcohol free cocktail that was unique and delicious. If you get a chance to dine here just be prepared for the price. We expected it to be expensive, but it I am still in a mild state of shock over the bill. I will dream of revisiting in a few years for my next big occasion, or if I finally win the lottery.

The hamachi, pumpkin gnocchi with white truffle shaving, and the cod with caviar where stand-outs. Fantastic flavors, perfectly balanced. The staff was amazing; attentive but not intrusive. The wine pairings were wonderful. My second favorite meal ever.....#1 being Joël Robuchon in Las Vegas.
