   We came to Hotel Laguna Restaurant for the view—and that truly was the highlight. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with a stunning oceanfront setting. However, the experience quickly declined from there. As soon as we entered the main room leading to the hotel, we noticed the ceiling paint was cracked and peeling. A desk in plain view was cluttered with toilet paper rolls, cleaning supplies, and random items—it looked more like a supply closet than a welcoming space. As for the food, it was underwhelming at best. I ordered the yellowtail carpaccio and a salmon/tuna roll, which I would rate a 5—just average. My husband ordered the brick chicken with Colorado mole sauce and mashed potatoes. The chicken looked unappetizing, wasn’t fresh, and had no flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box—just add water and serve. Despite the beautiful view, the food and ambiance left a lot to be desired. I give the meal a 2 overall and won’t be returning. This was my first and last visit.

   Food was great - 5 stars for the cook. But service ( our waiter) was not good - generally not welcoming and in contrast to the food and price you pay where you expect a certain level service for a nice restaurant…

   Came here for our anniversary and was not disappointed! We asked specifically for a table closest to the water and had to wait a bit in the bar area for one to open up (which we expected for the request), but we ordered espresso martinis and the service was great during our wait. When the table was ready it was almost sunset, and the view was gorgeous. The food was delicious (husband got the Chilean sea bass and I got the spicy sausage gnocchi) and well priced. Our waitress was so sweet and brought us an anniversary dessert at the end of our meal. Ambiance was 10/10, this place was poppin. Would definitely recommend for group dinners or dates!

   The restaurant is beautiful! We got seated outside with a great view of the beach. We ordered the fish tacos & burger with two cocktails! The cocktails were good but didn’t seem to have much alcohol in them. The burger was okay but the fries were amazing! The fish tacos were also fine — not amazing, not bad. I feel like they needed a little more flavor. The service was pretty slow - my boyfriend has to ask for his drink twice but it was a very busy day so not too upset over it! But maybe something to keep in mind if you’re going on a busy day. Overall, we’re happy with our experience! We would come back for drinks and the view.

   Came here for the first time. The bread was different and good. The fresh oysters were a bit dried out and too big. West coast oysters for sure which aren’t our favorite. I ordered the gnocchi which was very good. The view and service was very good. Not overly memorable food but a very nice place.

   Great and multiple seating options outdoors on the patio as well as indoors. Great direct view of the ocean.
