L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele
Everything was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended!
Excellent Italian food. A little overpriced, but certainly a fantastic food experience.
Easily the best pizza in Los Angeles (pizza being the original Italian dish, not any of the American “pizza style” grandchildren). Great location in Hollywood and ambiance is good, albeit maybe trying too much for a pizzeria. Service can be much better, as only the pizza master, the maitre d” and the bartender know why they are there. Today was my third visit and on each occasion our waiter appeared inexperienced and not focused. On all occasions the maitre d’ had to step in - be it to bring a bucket of ice for the Prosecco, to follow up on a drink order, to correct a wrong item on the check.
I’ll keep going there for the amazing food, hopefully the service will catch up.
The Gnocco Fritto were amazing. So was the blackberry cocktail! Definitely will come back for both.
My husband brought me for a celebratory dinner. The food was great the cocktails were amazing. Highly recommend the fools gold...the service was also great!
Best Italian food I have had in the states
This was seriously some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I definitely consider myself a pizza-snob
A great, casual restaurant in an interesting space. Outside on the patio, it is quiet and gorgeous! The pizza, salad and pasta were excellent! Great portions at a reasonable value
Great pie. Well put together well priced winelist. Love the place.
Fun atmosphere. Great for a date or friends lunch/dinner date. Lovely Outdoor patio.
As far as the food our Margherita Pizza was super soggy in the middle and crust slightly burnt. Pork Bolognese was okay - enjoyed the fresh pasta tho. Service was okay - not exceptional, not horrible.
Looked like they were hosting a cocktail tasting at a large table next to us. All of the cocktails looked super yummy but I didnt try any as i needed to drive back to our hotel.
Best pizza I have ever had
Wedding anniversary was good, service was a little slow, but it was also busy.
Great authentic Italian in the heart of Hollywood!
The most authentic Neapolitan pizza in United States. The rest of the menu is excellent as well.
We had a friend in town and chose to come here based on the recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely top notch and I have already recommended this place to five of my friends. I can't wait to go back.
Johnny was awesome. Food was awesome. Best pizza by far in LA and possibly in the US
Great pizza, and great service. I love coming here even though it’s a bit far from me.
I’ve been to the one in Naples & the pizza here is just as amazing!
Mediocre service. Food was brought out of order and cold. Pizza was soggy and cold, pasta was good but luke warm. Server was not in top of it. I would not go back.
The food and service were excellent. We loved the ambiance and also the price for the food wasn’t too bad. The calamari and truffle burger were amazing.
The food didn’t impress me and it was overpriced
Truly awful service. Had a 7:30 reservation. Didn't get seated until 8:10. Waited another 10 minutes after that to be greeted.
Everything was amazing! We had the calamari to start and shared the cacio e pepe and the marghertia pizza. The ambiance is amazing, we had a spot on their patio in the back and it was a lovely little spot. We would definitely return!
Absolutely delicious food and wonderful ambiance. Amazing pizza pasta... everything was delightful.
Was there for a friend's birthday on the night of the Oscars. It is great all around and they even had a pizza crust version of the Oscar award!
Quality..a bit pricey but a good place! I’ve been there 3x already in 3 months.
Great food. Beautiful space, will definitely be back.
Hands down best pizza (Margherita & Proscuitto/Arugula) experience (thank you Elizabeth Gilbert)!
The pastas were excellent (Vongole/Bolongese) so was the dessert (Bombolini/Caprese)
Staff was friendly, and interactive as well, felt like being a guest in someone's home!
The lunch started out well, but then service dropped off. And, the pizzas arrived and were basically undercooked. We’re Italian. We’ve been to Naples. This pizza was undercooked, even wet where it shouldn’t be. And the Calzone was inside out. Needless to say, we were quite underwhelmed. This after the highest recommendation from friends of ours. It’s possible, I suppose, that because it was the day of the Oscars, their regular chef was preparing for the Oscars and not handling the regular lunch crowd.
I was told this place would come close to experiencing a pizza in Nepal’s. Was not disappointed 😊
Really good food but I wouldn't go back based on that, the food and price balance didn't equal out for me and the waiter wasn't very attentive. Plus the front desk said I could pay for valet inside with credit card or cash outside. I paid with credit inside with tip and when I went outside I let the valet know I tipped to which he said the restaurant doesn't give them the tips. That is super unethical and terribly dishonest. I would ask for my money back but a couple of bucks isn't worth it.
Special yet cool
This was my first time at this restaurant. Elegant inside dinning and outdoor dinning with fire pit and heat warmers. Absolutely 5 star service and food. The marinara pizza is perfect for vegans. Super tasty and lite. Shout out to Kayla, amazing customer service. Definitely will be back!
The appetizers are quite expensive for what you get. Otherwise, I loved everything about our dinner here.
Very simply, as a first time guest we truly enjoyed our evening. Even breezy, with heat lamps, we were very comfortable. Everything we ordered was most enjoyable, appetizers, salads, pastas, pizza and mains, plus dessert were served well, and each dish was most enjoyed. It's a fun spot with a good menu and all that was ordered was well served and enjoyed. We shall return
The moment we walked in we felt like we were special. Everyone was super friendly and our sever had great recommendations and the chocolate lava cake with white chocolate gelato was to die for. Of course the margarita pizza with double cheese did not disappoint. Roasted cauliflower and beet salad was loaded with flavor! Will definitely go back. Went at 3:30 so it was not busy at all. Highly recommended!
This is probably the best pizza you can find in the LA area. And this said from a 100% Italian. This said pricing is a bit on the high level, but I guess that's the price for the great ambiance. Noise level a bit high but I guess it depends if it's weekend or not.
We loved this place! The grilled octopus is really good and the pizza is spectacular. Its large but we devoured every crumb. We will be back for sure.
Made so many friends at nearby tables and loved the food
The outdoor area was nice, and we had a great view of the pizza oven. The mixed board and the pizza were both generous portions. Would definitely recommend this place!
