Landry's Seafood House - St Louis
We went to Landry’s while we were spending the night in St. Louis. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It was raining so we had to eat inside but we will definitely be sitting outside next time. Food was great. Our first server dropped the ball and forgot us. We switched servers and she was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
We went to Landry’s to celebrate my daughter’s 19th birthday. The customer service was outstanding!! The Drinks were perfect!!!
Food was just OK. Server was amazing
Good selection of fish dishes.
Meal and service excellent, except every time we order the cucumber martini drink it takes 15 minutes "because the bar doesn't keep cucumbers handy and the tender is just kind of slow."
Great Food...Love the pan seared Snapper!
Good service...good teamwork...our server seemed stretched a little thin but did well.
We were told by server that Landry's is the biggest "fine dining" chain into the U.S. However, our drinks and salads arrived after our entrees. My wife and I both added salt to our bland entrees. If you're going to brag about fine dining, BE fine dining. Not trying to troll them, overall it was entirely adequate. We were hungry and we got a hot meal that wasn't awful.
Although I had a reservation and the hostess was aware of my presence, my party was not seated until I walked up and inquired nearly 15 minutes after my reservation time.
Service was extremely slow; it took an hour to get salad and drinks. Server was rude and inattentive seemingly only to guests of color.
Managers were notified and offered only an apology, no comps. We paid for our salads and drinks (one of which never arrived) and we left before ever being served our entrees.
Avoid this place at all costs.
Another great time at Landry's. It's becoming my wife and my spot for seafood night out.
Our waiter was great! She kept our drinks full and was very helpful.
Stuffed mushrooms apps are incredible. Drinks weak. Overpriced due to location. Not again.
Awesome food, great drinks! Server ok
Scallops somewhat overcooked. Gluten free menu said broccoli as a side but got green beans. No broccoli available. Drinks and all other food was good.
Landry's has always been one of my favorite Seafood restaurants. Nice location near the Koi Pond at Union Station which now includes a Fire show at different times. Had no problem seeing this from the inside where I was seated. Don't know to what extent, if any, your view would be obstructed in the warmer months when there is outdoor seating.
We love the food at Landry's. It's one of our favorites for Seafood in St. Louis!
The food was good, but our waitress disappeared for long periods of time. It was a Saturday night, so they were packed. They were even turning away walk-ins. Still...
7:30 Our reservation time
7:45 We were seated. Not too bad, considering. But the service was all downhill from there.
7:55 Waitress finally showed up and we ordered drinks
8:05 We received all drinks, except my wife's wine
8:15 We received her wine and placed our food order
8:35 We received our salads
9:05 Waitress took our salad plates.
9:12 Food finally arrived 57 minutes after we ordered it, which was an hour and 27 minutes after we were seated
Landry's kind of redeemed itself regarding their awful service. My wife complained that her baked potato was cold, so the waitress took it back. Shortly, the manager brought out a piping hot baked potato! The difference in the attentiveness between our waitress and the manager was like night and day. We told the manager of our waitress' inattentiveness. She apologized and gave us a free dessert. I don't think our waitress ever acknowledged her long absences. By the way, we became convinced of the shoddy service when we saw other customers getting fed before us, getting bread refills before us, and even leaving before us...and we got there before they did!!
i would NOT recommend this place. the crablegs i was served was green/moldy & overcooked, still had barnicles on them and when i told them they brought me another one & that one was still overcooked. it was just an experience i didn’t like AT ALL.
The place was very crowded. We were seated 20 minutes past our reservation time. The service was slow and the sides were undercooked.
Cocktails poor. Appetizer took forever. We were told “they are way behind.” Dinners took even longer. Expensive and not very good. Tables were not being cleared off timely and people were told there is a 40 minute wait. We were asked if we wanted more garlic bread and it never came. Waitress said, “they have to put more in the oven.” Terrible experience.
Disappointed! The staff was very accommodating in regards to our reservation. We arrived early and they were still able to seat us. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Now on to the meal: The food at the NOLA location is far superior. The Mahi Mahi portion was akin to that of Weight Watchers dinner. The Redfish was dry but tasteful. The breading on the calamari was too heavy. The salads were served at room temperature. Music was too loud. We would not go back.
Celebrated Valentines Day!!!
Great place with nice views of Union Station and has a nice fire and lights show.
Neat place, there calmiri was amazing. Restaurant was neat place right next to wheel and the coy pond, get to watch the pryo show
It was Valentine’s Day so the wait for are food was kinda long. But other then that the food was amazing.
It was lovely albeit a bit slow on the service side. Once we did get our server, all was better. The food was great
We were seated right away. The restuarant faces a reflecting pool that provides a decent view. The etouffee was great. My wife got snapper which she said was gamey, but it was the first time she ha had it so that might just be the taste of that fish. Appetizer of oysters Rockefeller were great.
Great environment and wonderful staff
Enjoyed my meal
Landry’s is a restaurant that I’ve frequented for over 20 years and is a place I’d also like to go and refer others. The last few visits have been disappointing, but last night sealed the deal. The service was great, but my husband and I both were beyond disappointed with our food. We both ordered the broiled seafood platter and it was disgusting. The food was bland without any type of real seasoning whatsoever, and the fish was just terrible. I’m not sure what’s changed in the kitchen or ownership over the years, but that used to be one of our favorite meals. Never again. I doubt very seriously that we will be returning again any time soon.
Great menu selections with good pricing and the quality of the appetizer, entree and cocktails were fantastic! An excellent location and a must-stop when visiting downtown St. Louis!
Took the kids to St. Louis for the weekend. Kids loved the food & fire show right outside the window. Service was great!
The food was very good and our server was very attentive. Our drinks were slow to arrive but were well made. We enjoyed our meal but should have allowed extra time. We would return but build in extra time.
We made reservations and got right in, however, we asked if we could sit by the window. There were several open tables at the time. We were told no because where we were being seeded was in a different zone for the servers. However, shortly after that someone else was seated at that table and it was the same server. Not sure what was up with that. Other than that our server was very good and the food was good.
Loud Music, Experience was nice. Food Was a Bit Greasy.
Great! Our server, Abby, was wonderful!
Awesome food and server! Best seafood meal we’ve had in a long time. It exceeded expectations. Pricey but glad it was so good!
The food was very good and the service was excellent!
The food was fine however it was delivered to our table by someone other than our waiter. Unfortunately there weee several issues and the waiter did not check back with us for over 10 min. By the time he came around we started eating although the dishes were not correct. For example I ordered Red fish blackened what was delivered was not blackened. There was supposed to be no sour cream on the baked potato but there was. Etc. nothing horrible just not what we ordered.
Waiter got our order wrong multiple times. It took almost 2 hours to get served and out of there. Kids meals were important to get early only he forgot one of them. Drink order was wrong too. Food was good!
