Awesome grilled oysters. We had a bowl of lobster bisque that was delicious. The best I’ve tasted in years. Our filet was perfect. Topped the meal off with bananas foster which was divine, although a little different presentation than normal. A really special meal while visiting San Antonio.
Great dining experience in downtown. The seafood is fresh and fantastic. Definitely need reservations because it's located on the Riverwalk.
Good solid chain, always good consistent food
Our server Adrian and the hostess desk made sure we were seated in a timely manner based on our reservation. The food was hot, fresh and accurate per our order.
Excellent food and waiter Wil was outstanding! Always a pleasure
Not well stocked on items
Picked 3 and all were out
Nice atmosphere good food.
My family and I loved having dinner in your restaurant on Thanksgiving day. My father just died last month suddenly from COVID and his father, my only grandpa, died tragically in April, 5 months before. Being able to take my grandma out, who just lost her husband of 61 one years and her 1st son, it really really really lifted her spirits, which helped to lift mine as well.
Our waiter was amazing, he was helpful, kind, thoughtful and patient with our large party, especially since we were there towards the end of the evening. I am so thankful so have had such a wonderful new memory with my family, thank you Landry’s staff.

A nice, quiet dinner with my husband on the San Antonio Riverwalk. The food was so good and our waitress was so very sweet. Loved her. We go there every time we’re in the area because it’s service and food are so good!
All of the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed drinks at the bar and a beautiful view of the river. The food was excellent. Our first time to San Antonio and they all made us feel welcome and loved.
We were so appreciative of being able to get reservations here for our family of 10 on Thanksgiving. We were seated quickly, our server was efficient, and the food was good. We did miss out on ordering a few things off of the menu for various reasons, and all of my drinks from the bar weren’t made consistently, but we figured it may be due to the holiday and not regular people working like normal. My crab was not cooked very well, and that was a slight disappointment, but overall…we were all very pleased and we will continue to patron this restaurant when we are in town.
Food was very good but not quite Landry’s standards
Thanksgiving dinner with family, Excellent everything. Very much appreciated being able to carry on a conversation at the table without a lot of noise, which was very good for those of us with hearing aids.
Went for lunch when it wasn’t even busy
Service was friendly, but everything took forever.
I had the Oyster Po’boy. Tiniest oysters with mostly breading, and not even that much of it.
The food was somewhat variable; e.g., the white fish in the fried seafood platter was slightly overcooked, and the batter was somewhat too thick, but the biggest single problem (which should be VERY easily resolvable) was that the food was merely warm rather than hot by the time it reached us. This appeared to be simply because it was all served on cold plates! Why? Faintly ridiculous. Carelessness? Couldn't careless-ness? The wine menu was comprehensive with bottles at all price points. Service was well-meaning and amiable, but generally very slow. Would we return and/or recommend it? Possibly ...!
We where here for our 22nd anniversary! Food was fantastic. Our waiter was amazing. So happy we chose this place to celebrate
Tuna was sinnuey. They forgot to put topping on. Had to wait again.
Server needs training on how to process credit cards.
The service could have been better - infact our party witnessed better service at each table around ours; one was even by the same server!! Great chocolate cake 🎂
The drinks were perfect. The calamari was fine. My sister ordered the gumbo but it tasted burnt. For our mains, my sister ordered a fried seafood platter but only the fish was hot. Everything else was cold. I ordered the Salmon Louisiane but they delivered the redfish. The food came out super slow. The staff were helpful though and gave us a free dessert and comped some of the food.
Appetizer - shrimp cocktail : shrimp were not fully deveined.
Entrees - sea bass and salmon lacked seasoning, and taste. Salmon was not fully cocked and the Melissa topping added nothing but cost to the meal.
For the price, you have many better options on the River Walk. Hard to see how they stay in business
We had a new server one month into the job that did an outstanding job. My steak was very delicious while my wife’s fish was not as warm as maybe it should be. Overall good though.
We went to have a nice dinner before we went to the Empire theater for a show. The waiter counted my husband‘s order with some thing he thought would be better, which it wasn’t. The waiter was not very attentive at all. He didn’t even bring the wine until after the meal was over. And he never offered us dessert. He just took our card disappeared for a while and eventually came back and dropped it off and ran. We won’t be going back
We started with the calamari which was delicious and I had the reef and beef awhile my husband had the mahi mahi topped with shrimp and scallops for the main. The size of the steak was much larger than expected. I couldn’t finish it with everything else on the plate. The waiter was a tad awkward because he was new but other than that it was a great dinner.
My birthday dinner. The food was bland. The only good thing about my experience was the server Andrew!!! They ran out f oysters. On a Friday night.
Food was good, not great. Seafood in Texas might not be the choice in the future. Carlos our server was awesome. In fact all the help we very good.
Staff were amazing fot8my salute to my mom and son for veterans day
Great food. The service was excellent Our waiter gave us excellent choices. Had seafood
Delicious food and great service!
Good ambiance great food
Service and food was fantastic!!
This was one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. First of all, our waiter took our drink & appetizer order and then disappeared. Someone else brought out our drinks & appetizer (which was cold), & then we sat there for over 45mins waiting on someone to take our actual order. I eventually went to the front to ask someone to find my waiter or take my order. The front person placed our order. It was then another 45mins before our food was served by again a different person than our waiter. The food itself was blah. We got the fettuccine & crab cakes. The fettuccine had no taste and was over cooked. The crab cakes were filled with peppers/onions/celery and very little crab. I would’ve rather gone to red lobster or Olive Garden. We also never got refills & had to ask another waiter for a box/check. Will never return. Very overpriced as well being that bad meal with worse service was $100 for 2 people.
Food was blah - especially for the price. Waiter went MIA from ordering until bill came. Fabulous location. Stick with drinks, apps, dessert.
The food was over cooked. But the server was great.
Great food and service. We had a party of 10 and everybody enjoyed their food. The waiter was extremely attentive. I loved my blackened redfish. I heard others rave about the gumbo. The Caesar salad had the right amount of dressing. We all had a great time.
Very enjoyable dining experience. Anthony our server very attentive, ambience conducive to relaxing evening and food delicious as usual.
Excellent food and service.
Great service, great food, nice location on the river.
Eating Dinner along the Riverwalk is always fun. But when the food is as good as Landry’s it make it even better. Plus the service was wonderful.
We had a 8:15 reservation and the table wasn’t ready until 8:45. We sat at the table for 20 minutes, waiting on the waiter. The food was terrible; my husband ordered the fried seafood platter, and the oyster and fish overcook; I had the stuffed flounder, and it was cold and needed season; we wasted $91.00.
