   The food and location was very good. Parking was close and easily accessible. Service was a little slow but understandable with labor being what is it today. Will book again for another look at this restaurant!

   The appetizers took 30mins to arrive and entrées arrived 5mins after receiving appetizers. Was not offered a second cocktail and when asked upon arrival of entrées was told the bar was closed. Half the appetizers were cold and half the entrées were undercooked. It was my sister birthday and i brought a cake for dessert with the expectation that the cake would be served but was asked did we want the cake with the check. I expected better because I work in the industry but shame on me. I won't return!!!

    Delicious food and drinks. Nice ambience. Our server was stellar. BUT, we almost left because the hostess was incredibly rude. Sad to start the experience that way.

    Absolutely the worst experience ever! Had a reservation but waited half an hour to get seated, while there were plenty of tables available but not cleaned off. Family who had no reservations went before us. Meanwhile a lot of the staff were just talking to each other goofing off and not trying to seat anyone. After we were finally seated it took about 45 minutes to bring our drinks and one of them was wrong. Food came about 30 minutes later, warm but not hot, no silverware, no bread as the waitress offered and one meal was not what we ordered. Waitress was trying but totally unacceptable service all the way around. Even manager seemed to not care.

    We arrived prior to our reservation. The restaurant was only seating people with prior reservations (no walk ins). While waiting, I stood at the bar and eventually ordered a drink (which was staffed by only one sweet bartender who had to keep running upstairs to pick up food for people, leaving the bar unattended), and after waiting, we were sent upstairs to be seated. However, instead of being assigned a waiter, we sat at the empty table. The manager eventually brought us water and took our food order. NO ONE checked on us again. We waited more than 40 minutes for food and never received a refill on drinks (no one ever asked). One waiter for another table eventually said hello, but we were just ready to go. SUPER UNDERSTAFFED.

    Overall good experience. Could tell that staffing issues impacted the experience. So I won’t be too hard on them. Food itself was great. We had the fish platter and the red fish was phenomenal. Took a whole for food too arrive due to staffing. Waitress did get best and was pleasant in her delivery. Overall good.

    Slllooooowwww....when waiting for a host to check you in when you have a reservation takes 15 minutes, prepare to be here awhile. We had tickets 2 hours after our reservation for a haunted tour but it took us 2.5 hours for our uncomplicated meal and we missed our tour. Alligator was not good meat either. Do not recommend that.

    Historic place (around since 1840) great ambiance, food was really good, walk around and check out the back rooms and wine cellar if you get a chance. Worth a trip!

    Food was good but service horrible . Hardly any tables and server had 2 on his section and barely acknowledges us after we sat for 20 minutes. Finally we asked hostess to be seated in another section and she sat us at bar. Everyone standing around talking not paying attention to customers . Finally bartender acknowledged us and we ordered everything at one time was afraid they would never come back . Food was good .

    Although reserved weeks ago they tried to make seven of us in bar stools but up on us expressing displeasure they offered good seats, Overall it was not very professional. Overall food was excellent but a cleaner ambience and less noisy environment would have made it much more enjoyable,

    We had to wait to be seated even though we had reservations. After being seated by the hostess, there was no additional contact by any of the staff. Several waiters/waitresses walked by our table. No one greeted us or acknowledged our presence. After 15 minutes of being ignored, we walked out. Find another place to eat. Service is non-existent.

    Service was a little slow but that could be due to staff shortages. Hurricane was good although sweeter than some of the other places we got one at. Had a few raw oysters which were great and then the main meals were both fantastic. Almond crusted mahi mahi was really flavorful and all ingredients went well together. Fried seas food platter was pretty standard but they give you two huge fish fillets. Cinnamon bread pudding was great way to finish the meal. Ate outside on patio and was a nice night to be outside with light breeze and view of Mississippi.

    Service ruined everything! After two people asked for our drink order, we never received them, not even the iced tea! We had to ask for silverware twice as our food got cold Several items were never delivered despite us flagging people down to check on our food. Meanwhile, the tables around us received adequate service. We had to flag down someone to give us a check and when she had to get the manger involved, he wouldn’t even acknowledge that we were standing there. Ridiculous.

    I had seen other reviews referring to the timeliness of the meal being problematic, however, I thought that hopefully with advance notice this would not be an issue; unfortunately, I was incorrect. We went to the restaurant to celebrate my sister 16th birthday, and made reservations that said it this well in advance. Not only was the staff unprepared for this, but we set a reservation for 6:45 PM and did not leave until almost 10 pm because of how long the service took. The average time between our waiter coming to check on us was about 30 to 45 minutes and even things like drink refills took way longer than it should have even being short staffed in a pandemic. Most of the food they came out was lukewarm. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for for such an occasion, and especially with a multiple $$$ bill

    Front desk lied about not having space on the balcony. It was stupid to lie about that because I could clearly see it was empty. When I asked them to show me it was too busy, the girl abruptly changed her mind and had us seated. No apology was given. After that, service was quite slow and food was just mediocre.
