We made reservations. We were seated right away which was great. We then waited 30 minutes for our server to come over. We ordered drinks. The kids got theirs right away. We then waited an additional 20 minutes for our cocktails. Our appetizer came with our salads. And we waited forever for our meal. My lobster was good but the 2 steaks we ordered were cooked wrong and had to be sent back. We were never asked for refills. We had to get the buzzer to get us refills. I ordered wine to eat with my lobster and got it after my meal was all gone.
Waitress was friendly and hard working but the food was mediocre and overpriced. My $37 filet came out purple & raw when I asked for medium rare. When I had it cooked more I don't think they actually did because it was still raw when it came back.
Dinner was delicious, service was great. We'll be back.
When we arrived to check in the young hostess was so rude. She had scowl on her face and said she would “try to find us a table”. Then she and some of the other staff debated on who would take our table. When the hostess did take us to a table she tossed the silverware and menus in a pile on the table…not the best start.
Out actual waitress was amazing and for food was great. Note to the manager, first impressions are everything.
Food was bland. Server was nice.
The Southern Style Fish meal was fried too hard and lacked enough seasoning to be considered edible. The service, however, made up for the undesirable meal.
Love the food here. The gumbo is amazing. Service always good and servers friendly every time. Enjoy
We enjoy dinner at Landry's but I feel it was quite pricey and the menu was rather limited. Our server did not go out of his way to see to our needs. Never asked how meals were and did not ask if we needed salt and pepper (we had to flag down another server who happened by our table). Overall, I would rate the experience as average.
Great food and great service
Waited approximately 20 mins at the table without being greeted by server and proceeded to leave. Very poor service.
Poor service. Multiple errors on our order. Mahi dry. Drinks watered down. Understaffed so no patio dining available. Too expensive for such average food and poor service.
Landry's is my go-to restaurant for special occasions. The food is outstanding. Even with staff shortages our service was 100%. Thanks to our server, Courtland - who did a great job.
We wanted to get some good seafood and know the Landry's chain well so decided to brave the traffic/parking at Broadway at the Beach for dinner. I loved being able to reserve a table ahead of time at prime time 6:15pm. I was shocked at how empty the place was. I only saw three tables taken inside and no seating outside at all. The hostess was great, even commented on our anniversary. They sat us at a table next to the kitchen doors (not a great spot). The waitress was the only person in the entire restaurant with a mask on. She was cordial and attentive. My husband ordered salmon with a salad and I ordered the mahi mahi with a wedge salad. The salads were great. We were not offered bread but I heard someone across the room ask for it so I did as well and it was brought out hot - so good! The meals came out promptly but were disappointing. Both fish were dry. They were served with bland rice and broccoli. I didn't send it back but should have, just not my style. So over all it was just ok. Not sure we'd go back there. I hear Mr. Fish is a local place in town that is far superior so will probably try that next time instead.
The meal was amazing! Service was great! Favorite thing was crab cake appetizer! It was delicious!
It took a while for us to be greeted by a wait staff member. The sitting area was warm and again the service of delivering our drinks and meal items was so delayed that it was annoying particularly since the restaurant was not that busy at the time we had our reservation.
Service was slow, had to ask for drink refills. Definitely not enough staff for their seating at this time.
Food was ok. Pretty good. It is pretty pricey
Excellent experience with our gorgeous waitresses and other staff! Made one last night in town amazing!
No wait, but we had a reservation. Lovely staff. They need to cook their broccoli a few minutes more. No crab legs or lobsters. We had Snapper which was very good. My husband had scallops, and he did not leave a sing one on his plate. It would be nice to be able to get mashed potatoes instead of rice or fingerling potatoes.
Food was good and delivered promptly. The only criticism I have is the server not taking dirty plates when he came to the table
Landry’s was super busy but the staff did a wonderful job managing the flow. Food was great and service was even better!
My wife and I came to celebrate my birthday on 06/04/21. We made a reservation and got there a little early. We were seated right away. I was a little disappointed because I really wanted to sit outside by the water, but it was closed I’m sure to help the staff accommodate everyone. The bread was hot, salads were good, the only catch was I ordered my steak medium-well and it was basically medium-well on the outer edges and medium in the center. I hate to be the complaining guy so I didn’t say anything to our waiter who was phenomenal by the way just didn’t eat all of it, which I hated bc the flavor was great. So all and all it was a nice dinner just hate I couldn’t take my steak with me for later.
It took about 10 minutes to get seated, we had reservations, but nobody was at the greeter station. It took 15 minutes to get waited on. A nice young lady came over and asked If we had been waited on, when we said no, she took our order and served us the rest of the time we were there. The food was excellent and the server was very sweet and attentive. We would definitely go back.
Unfortunately our experience at Landry’s was less than sub-par. Our party of 10 experienced extremely long wait times for everything—Drinks, appetizers, salads, and entrees. Our reservation was at 5:45 and we were finally leaving at 8:00. We felt terrible for our waiter because we was trying so hard to please every table he had. Unfortunately, this restaurant is super understaffed and relies on just a few of their waitstaff to take care of a busy restaurant. We understand that this is the situation in most places right now after Covid so we expected it. However, our food was not prepared as it should be and the table and chairs we were sitting on were super dirty. Again, most likely due to not enough staff.
Had a party of seven . Booked a table through open door for 6pm. Table was not ready on arrival. When we were seated 15 minutes later they sat is in a hot section of the restaurant.
See ice was ok. Ran out of water and she could have checked on us more frequently. Food was just ok. Nothing special.
Everything was great and wonderful like always. Only issue was the missing clown making balloon animals.
Such a shame, a high end restaurant with this level of service. Food was outstanding, a bit pricy but very good. Service however was not up to the level of the pricing structure for this restaurant. It did not appear to be a shortage of employees just many needing training. Task were not completed. Server was pulled away from his station, bar service was a disaster and where was the manager behind closed doors in his/her office. Its dinner time and the manager is in the office. Therein lies the problem.
It was nice to have reservations. We were not offered any of the complimentary bread, parts of the meal were not correct & the waiter was nice but for not being busy he took forever to check in. Food was good, just wish we got the same service as everyone else.
We had a 6:15 reservation for a birthday celebration, it said birthday celebration on reservation, and chose Landry's for their oysters. We arrived early and asked if they could seat us, which they did. With a room full of empty tables they put us right between 3 other full tables. It's covid so we didn't say anything. First wrong action, when clearing a table near us, they dropped dirty napkins on our space, didn't notice and we were left to clean it up. We ordered drinks, they were out of the ingredients to make the drink we ordered, again covid we moved on and ordered a different drink. Appetizers, we ordered oysters, again, out of oysters...at this point we should have left but again, covid we figured stay and give them the benefit. We ordered a filet that was not worth the price charged, it was small and thin. The stuffed flounder was cold. The only decent meal was the cedar planked salmon. Not to be daunted we ordered creme brulee for dessert plus a bread pudding to go. We got the bread pudding before we got our table dessert. I requested a candle for the birthday celebration and 20 minutes later we got creme brulee, sans candle. For the $185 we spent there it was truly not worth it.
Great food... room was a little cold but overall wonderful dining experience!
Vacation , frustrating that I ordered grilled. They brought it blackened. Took it back and just scraped it off
Overpriced. Food quality is poor. Waited 15 mins for server to greet us
We had reservations for 5:30. Arrived at 5:15 and was immediately seated. It took 20 minutes to get drinks. Chowder was more bacon than clams. My wife's dinner arrived and mine did not. My wife got a bone/shell in her meal. After 15 minutes, I notified a manager I did not get my food and of my wife's meal issue. She stated she would "take care of everything." The manager delivered a replacement meal to my wife and finally my meal. After finishing our meals, we asked our waitress if there was a desert menu. She stated there was not but she remembers a few desert items. She mentioned 3 for which we made our selection. After another 20 minutes without our desert, we decided we had to leave. We went to the hostess to get our check. We were actually charged for the entire meal. I was offered an employee discount and protested. The entire meal should have been compensated. I did speak to another manager and our meals were totally compensated.
Our waitress, Courtney was great!!! The food was just ok and way too expensive for just ok.
This place rocked, calamari appetizer was good, server was super kind, burger was decent, 10/10 would go again
plagued with a lack of help, post pandemic, the service was uneven but not for trying; arriving for happy hour about 15 minutes before it's end, we were seated but one of only two bartenders trying to serve many tables did not take our order till minutes before 6pm; unfortunately the advertised scotch was not available that drink order did not go in until after 6pm. same with some of the food order; but the manager came to the rescue; and there was the bartender really trying very hard and resorting to her manual to make the drink made in if the strongest drinks i have ever had in a bar...but maybe that's not so bad :-)
Great food and service-the staff were clearly busy but always doing their best to make sure everyone had everything and the food was great! Would recommend in a heartbeat
Patio was closed despite the lovely weather. Dining room was packed and service wasn't great. Wouldn't return. Food was barely edible.
The scallops were to die for. Would highly recommend. Had an oysters appetizer, and the oysters were large and tasty. Would most definitely return during my next visit to Myrtle Beach.
Food was ok....service ok we will not be returning nothing to write home about
