The food was average; I've had much better and worse. Great ambiance and service!
The first thing we noticed was how loud the restaurant was. We had 8:45 pm reservation. Not all tables were full. As the restaurant emptied out we were able to hold a conversation. Since we were supposed to be a party of twelve, we had two reservations for 6 each. When we were still waiting on our drink order and discovered three of our party want coming, I went over to the other half of our group to have them join us. Though seated after us, they already had their drinks and bread. I returned to our table. Still nothing. Went to the hostess stand and asked. It still took 5 more minutes to get our drinks. Seemed to be primarily our server. We ordered water for a two year old. She brought her an adult size "glass" of water. I again had to go to the hostess station to get a child's cup. Food was outstanding!!!! Service and noise levels were just bad. Won't go there again during peak season.
More than 20 minutes to be greeted at table and order drinks. Another 20 min to receive drinks and order food. Reservation at 715. Seated in 5 min but more than an hour before food arrived. Expected better service from a bill over $500. Not my first time at Landry’s but probably my last.
I wanted to like this place. Our service was awful. It took 35 minutes to get waters for the table… then we did not get bread or salads we ordered until our food came out. We had to eat our salads while our food sat there.
The wait staff needs training, bar service was slow, the rest of the experience was enjoyable.
The rear of the restaurant was so hot we asked to be reseated. The hostess was extremely rude, but the manager came by and moved us to the cooler part of the restaurant. Our server was very nice. Food was ok, nothing special. They ran out of redfish, we got crab legs and mahi which were fine. Crab legs didn’t have any sides. Our son enjoyed his shrimp pasta.
We indicated we had two birthdays for celebration, but I think they forgot. The rude hostess even asked whose birthday it was when we came in, but nothing was mentioned after that.
It was an ok experience. Server was great, hostess rude.
This was our first trip to Landry’s and it will definitely not be our last. The food absolutely delicious. Highly recommend trying the crawfish bread and calamari.
Great! Food was delicious and the staff were beyond sweet!
Food was good, server was nice but overloaded with two consecutive 15 person plus groups seated next to us. Seating these large, very noisy groups in middle of dining room made it impossible for our group to enjoy our meals and have a conversation. Second group was a reunion, standing, being very load. Should have been in a private room or at least at far end of dining room.
We left feeling very poorly treated by Landry’s.
Great service good food
Food server & service were all very good. Thought it was a little pricey for small dinner portions
Fine nothing special
Terrible service. Great if you like frozen fish at the beach. Bad quality food.
Great food, clean, somewhat loud (all tables were packed together) server was a little slow and un-attentive.
Food was ok, short on staff. Short on items (no Pinot noir or oysters). Asked for salad instead of rice, was told it would still come with rice. When asked if they could just leave it off, was told again that it would just come with it. Chairs were sticky.
It was like a vacation Applebee’s. Nothing special, long time for food, overbooked
Average all the way around, nothing to brag about here.
30 year anniversary
Food was good not great, but better than average. However, it is overpriced and they didn’t not have several items and no diet soda options.
Air conditioning was not working in the back part of the restaurant.
Alina was a wonderful server! Very wonderful dining experience
The only negative is the air conditioner was out so half of the restaurant was so hot. We asked to be moved which they did accommodate us but it was still warm. Also, they were out of several things to drink. The only option was coke, tea and water. The kids wanted lemonade which they do not have.
Had an early dinner with my wife and daughter. Service was outstanding - not a single faux pas, even though we had several changes to the standard order. The crawfish bread appetizer was delicious., as was the stuffed redfish. Excellent meal!
I got thr Alfredo shrimp pasta, it was very dry.
The food was sub par but the ambience was nice.
Service was horrible. Server rushed by not even letting you ask for anything. Let our drinks sit empty. Had to ask multiple times for things and still never received some of them. The food was good but not worth $250.
Didn't get refills of even water until asked 3 times and only once. Asked for pepper and didn't get it until end of meal. Server didn't even come near our area more than 4 times, and walked right by without asking how we were or if needed refills. It was warm in the restaurant. I left a 10 percent tip, to be nice but later thought $25 dollars was way to much to leave when we couldn't even get more water.
Disappointing meal! Food was over cooked and lukewarm when served. Overrated and has gone downhill from prior Landry’s experiences.
The service was awful. The server was not friendly at all and we had to track her down if we needed refills. However, it was the food that really ruined the experience. Tiny, overpriced plates of dry fish stuffed with stuffing that tasted like it was out of a box. The “seasonal sides” were bland rice and broccoli that was not seasoned or prepared in any special way. My one year old loved the kids pasta...that was the only consolation. Left with a huge bill and hungry bellies.
Waited 30 minutes for service and NO ONE came to the table. Tried to get a waiter’s attention to ask who was our server and was completely ignored. We ended up walking out. Very unfortunate.
Reserved for special birthday. Air conditioning was out in part of restaurant. Way too hot to be enjoyable. Server was new from Columbia and very sweet, but absolutely no serving experience. Had to ask to clear glasses and dishes. Had to ask 3 times for water. Fish entrees were prepared nicely, need to upgrade from rice pilaf and broccoli as sides. Will not return.
The food was ok- not bad but not great. The bill was $178 for 3 adults and 1 kid. It was basically a red lobster meal but for 3 times the price. The service was really poor. We waited for an hour for our appetizer which came 5 minutes before our entrees. I would never go here again.
Great food great service the only bad thing was there was no air conditioning and it was very hot in the restaurant. Overall I recommend but to hot not to have AC
Our server came to our table in tears saying that her last table walked out on their bill. Then she ran to the bathroom crying. Not the way you want to start out your dinner experience. The food was mediocre at best. Service was lacking and our salads came out with our dinner. Overall not a good experience and definitely not worth the money spent.
The tables being sat were to spaced out. Felt like we were out out of the way for a party of 6. Food was fair, not really worth what we paid. Broccoli was the vegetable served and it came out in very large chunks. I had the cedar planked salmon which was good but overall presentation did not jump out as I expected for a Landry’s. Service was good. Server was a little slow but polite and good with the order and drinks.
What a wonderful evening. Where do I start? At first we had an amazing meal! It was prepared great and was served hot. Our server Natalie was great. She was so personable and attentive to our meal. We have been to Landry’s numerous times and this is the first time I have seen a server work so hard. Major kudos to Natalie.
We eat at this restaurant every time we come to town but we're not sure if we will after this trip. The app was great. Then everything came out at the same time, salads and main dish. The pasta just didn't taste as good as it normally does, the filet mignon was good but not worth what was paid for it. They still don't have baked potatoes. Overall it was ok just not worth the money this time around.
The staff at check in was not friendly, but the server was good. The food was good, however we would have preferred the Sea Bass pan-seared after tasting it.
My husband got sick from the gumbo this morning. That’s all he ate besides a salad and we all had salad, he was the only one that had the Gumbo. There was a dead palmetto on the floor when I told the server she was like I’ll let my manager know. Terrible but everywhere is these days!
Salmon was excellent. Appetizer was also. Server was really great.
