Landry's Seafood House - Myrtle Beach
Sweet corn fondue, crab orzo, garlic sauted spinach, blistered grape tomatoes
I was hoping for a really great dinner or our anniversary but what we got was just mediocre. Our waiter was inexperienced dropping our tray of drinks it took forever for him to replace them and he kept forgetting condiments and basic things. My husband and I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
First time at a Landry’s and we will be back! Food and service were great!!!
Never go here
It felt a bit overpriced. At the front desk the hostess had her mask around her neck which was a bit insulting as they claimed to care about the importance of wearing a mask.
Well spaced for covid-19 rules. Never felt uncomfortable. Food was wonderful. Service just as good.
Chowder was cold! They were out of oysters! Lots of better seafood options. Spend your money somewhere else!
We had a good meal, not outstanding, but what you would expect from Landry’s. Good kid friendly dinner this evening. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday, she enjoyed her meal which made the event even better.
Delicious food and great service.
BEWARE: Paid $150.00 for two overcooked fish dinners that were served cold.
As a former server, I was impressed with our service. Food was great.
The food was good and the server was excellent!!!!
Landry’s used to be one of our favorite places in the Myrtle Beach area. We haven’t been there in years but this time it was just ok. The food didn’t seem as good and the service didn’t seem as good.
They did handle the covid situation well. We had reservations and were provided a table that was adequately spaced from others.
Please let the guest dine at the pace they would like. Our server was constantly rushing us when it was obvious we were taking our time
Their filet is soooooo good! We have had it twice now and loved it both times! They also have an amazing chocolate cake for desert! We will be back next time we are in Myrtle!
Dined during the covid era. Made reservations and was seated immediately. The service was average. The food portions were adequate and presentation was good. Overall the food was good. I would definitely go back. I do not think the restaurant was romantic as some posters have stated. Unless your idea of romance is stuffed bass and marlins on the walls.
Excellent service and food! Willow was a wonderful and friendly server who immediately mentioned our birthday celebration. Food was well worth the price.
This place is amazing! The menu is pricey but sooo worth it. Our server Tim was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall it was excellent! I would recommend you try it at least once. I promise you'll love it.
Great service. Loved the drinks, salads, and bread especially!
Erroneously told us each bottle of wine we ordered was out of stock when trying to order a second bottle. Switched two times and then ordered by glass. Manager came over to say they actually had our wine in stock and would be happy to comp our glasses if we purchased another bottle. Having been through three different types of wine we said forget it and they didn’t comp anything. Despicable service. Will never go to Landry’s again.
Great atmosphere I go there every summer.
The oysters are delicious.
For beginners, my dad ordered the wedge salad and before he took his first bite, there was a long hair WRAPPED around the lettuce! And then I got my food, the fried seafood platter, and I picked up the first piece of shrimp to eat and ANOTHER HAIR wrapped around the shrimp. They replaced my dad’s salad but once the same thing happened to my meal I was done! I told them to take it off I did not want another order. Also, the menu was overpriced, my husband ordered the stuffed flounder it was close to $30 and The fish was barely 4oz. And the kids fettuccine was almost $8 with no meat! They charged me another $5 to add shrimp. I’ve been coming to Myrtle Beach for years and eaten at a lot of seafood restaurants- I look forward to it coming to the beach; this was definitely the worst! It doesn’t even deserve one star.
The restaurant was busy and surprisingly louder than expected even while accommodating social distancing. Service was slower than anticipated however to be expected with everyone trying to manage during these new and unusual times. Food was fresh and excellent.
It was horrible the waitress messed up our bills, and kept charging the wrong amount, kept our credit card we had to ask her for it she wasn’t even apologetic.
Family dinner while on vacation. Meal was great and service was on point. 👍🏻
Very disappointing meal. Food was bland and boring. Service was slow and unprofessional. Cocktail was decent though!
Both my wife and my dishes were delicious. I think the mixed drink prices a little steep for the lack of buzz we got. Could have bought a bottle of bourbon for the price of two drinks. Outside of that enjoyed our meal. Server was wonderful she responded quickly with everything we ask for.
Nice meal at a nice place with good social distancing measures in place
Always spot on. Never disappoints! We visit Landry’s every time we come to Myrtle Beach. It’s always a family favorite.
Waitress forgot our salads and tea. Not attentive.
Food was bland and expecting more seafood choices
Excellent food, good size portions, waitress was on point.
Great service. Seated on time. Limited menu because of virus.
We are from Texas and have eaten at Landry’s many times. We were just looking for fried shrimp and an open bar.
Snow crab was way overpriced, too salty and not worth the price. Shrimp cocktail was very good and so was the fettuccine with blackened shrimp.
Overall really great tasting food, I did order the shrimp blackened skewer which was 6 shrimp but they were brought out cold. I did Gumbo for my appetizer which was really delicious and came out hot. The steak they don’t have onions which I would have liked and the steak was well done on the outside but had pink on the inside which I asked for all well done.
The blackened shrimp my favorite!
They staff and food were amazing
Didn’t think it was worth ask the hype. No scallops available how can you call yourself ac seafood restaurant
Average food and ambiance.
Lots of flavors but poor meat and sea food.
First of all Jeremy was not just a server he was a guide . Listened to what we liked and then guided us through amazing appetizers and dinner . Listen to your servers , I’m not sure they are all as good as Jeremy bu they know their stuff . The crawfish bread and crab stuffed jalapeños we out of this world and for dinner we had the broiled platter with crab cake , shrimp , mahi mahi with crab Sauce. Couldn’t have been a better dinner or experience . Diners were separated by more than 6 feet and servers and host all had masks and gloves on making us feel very comfortable!!! Highly recommend :)
