Drinks were decent, but the food was overpriced and mediocre. Steak was not cooked as desired and fish had no flavor. Not worth the price. COVID safety precautions not observed. Table was not cleaned between guests.
I had a reservation and we were seated immediately on arrival at a table very close to one of the windows overlooking the boardwalk. Our waiter was kind and attentive. His recommendations about items on the menu were very helpful and the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Maya was an awesome waitress. I was undecided on what I was going to pick and I went with her suggestion and I can’t wait to go back for more!
Our meals were pretty good, but it took forever to get the bill when we were completed.
Glad I made a reservation since it was very busy. Good food and great service even with the restaurant being busy.
The blackened redfish always excellent. Our server was very attentive to grandson’s dairy allergy; so much so he had his stuffed flounder re-prepared without asking.
Landry’s just doesn’t have the great food it once had. It was ok but just not nearly the great food it once was. Sad to say:(
We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary and surprised at the dress code, on line says business casual but we saw cut offs, swim attire. We ordered the fillet and lobster tail. The steak was one of the best I've ever had, and we've been all over, but the lobster was tough and over cooked. Our waitress was wonderful. Not worth the price.
We had a great time. Our server Riley was awesome!
Everything was very well done after we got beyond the hostess stand person. She set a bad tone for the visit but the rest of the staff was exceptional.
The food was very good, the gumbo was not as hot as I would have liked, maybe because we got there when it open and the gumbo was just warm but not hot. Overall it was very good.
Fish was fresh and the best Ceasers salad in Houston.
The food was not at all what I expected it to be. It’s also expensive for the amount of food you get. There are other seafood restaurants that charge the same amount but give bigger portion sizes. Not very impressed. Will not go back again!
We felt comfortable and had good lunch with good service.
eat here and other landry’s and alway good! Stop in and try for yourself you won’t be sorry.
Food was horrible no flavor or seasoning. My pinky fell apart when i picked it up and shrimp were just not right. My son grilled tilapia had NO seasoning at all and was very crispy around the edges. Fries were over cooked and nasty
We drove out from Tyler to celebrate our anniversary.. the waitress was slow, it took at least 15 minutes to get a soda water, then another 20 to get our check and pay. The food gave us ingestion, we had to go to our room and take Pepto-Bismol an hour later, my wife had to use the restroom before we even got back to the room. Definitely will not eat there again.
My waiter made me and my boyfriend feel uncomfortable I asked what was the filet mion was and he said it’s expensive but I didn’t ask him that I just wanted to know what it was , my boyfriend wanted an appetizer and he was talking about how small and was he sure if that’s what he wanted of course that’s what he want he does know his stomach, the food eventually came out and he brought me the bill so I felt like my meal was being rushed he didn’t ask if I wanted dessert or not and if so I would have had to put it on another ticket I wanted that night to be special because my birthday was around the corner , the food was the only thing that I enjoyed .
Worst experience ever at any restaurant level. Ruined my 18 year anniversary. Thank you Landry's.
We came to the Kemah Boardwalk to start our Spring Break week and we were EXTREMELY disappointed with our experience at Landry’s. Service was horrible. The waitress was extremely distracted, messed up several parts of our order. Got all the kids drinks wrong, messed up the kids order, forgot sides, never gave drink refills, etc... I got a bowl of gumbo that was extremely salty and had a piece if plastic bag in it! Complained to the manager, she brought me a skewer of grilled shrimp(5 pieces.of shrimp) to eat with the rest of my salad(that the waitress brought the wrong dressing). Food was also served cold or lukewarm. Nothing was fresh or hot!
When we got the bill, the incorrect kids meal was still on the ticket(as well as the correct one) plus my bowl of gumbo was still listed. I had to ask her to take it off! It was the worst meal I have spent A LOT of money on! I will never go back to Landry’s!
Service was horrible, every table around us had major orders with their food and service as well!
Service was excellent but slow with delivery of ordered items. Extremely crowded so not surprised it took a while. No complaints
Everything started great. Apps and drinks on time then it fell apart. Once food was delivered it was cold and inedible. We were comped the entree (even after reheat still inedible). Order another cocktail and dessert and it took 30 minutes for the arrival.
Many items unavailable due to pandemic (such as a baked potato). Highly unlikely that we will return. Pretty sad because I used to love the place.
The food is always perfectly made and the service always great!
The young people who worked as waiters did a great job. The service was great. Special thanks to Richard. (Dude, I hope you could find a better place to work with your skills).
Overall, the food is no good. I have doubts they know how to cook seafood. Overcooked salmon, rubber-like shrimp, strange taste of sea bass, undercooked vegetables. Get a better chef, guys!
Overall impression 2/5 for food. Service somewhere around 5/5.
No, I am not coming back to this place.
Landry’s seafood had really good food. The atmosphere was great.
The food and service where very good. However, they have dressed down this Landry’s inside and it is very casual looking. My suggestion is to go the the Landry’s in Galveston as it is much nicer inside.
We wanted the stuffed flounder and it was delicious!
Anniversary dinner table of 6. Fast seating, Excellent waitstaff, Manager is socially accommodating and friendly. We will recommend this to anyone that will listen.
Me and my boyfriend loved eating here, it was a very pleasurable experience. We will diffidently be coming back.
Kemah is always fun and its nice to have a fine dining restaurant there like Landrys. The seafood is always good. I had the Flounder Melissa i think its called. They left the tail on it but some of the skin was still edible. Anyway, the server was very good, attentive, informative with drink choices, and the dinner was delicious. Expensive of course but a nice time on a very cold night. We still took a lonely walk along the cold boardwalk and enjoyed the quiet night in the lights.
Waiter and food was awesome. But The host was so unorganized.
Best crab cake I have ever eaten! The rest of our food was delicious as well. The setting was very nice, peaceful and quiet (for that, we thank Covid 19?!).
The Redfish was really good, but the Mahi Mahi was though and rubbery. The key lime pie was great.
Wonderful seafood. Recommend the boiled seafood platter!
When we arrived, I told the server our party of 6 was here and we had a 6:30pm reservation. To which, she responded quite rudely that I'll be texted when it's ready without even asking for a name or anything. Several in the group went to the restroom and then I checked back in and was greeted by another person who asked for my name and said our table is ready and immediately took us to be seated. I'd say the restaurant was quite understaffed as it took a long time to get food and drink refills. Our server was great and very personable, but she was definitely running ragged.
Even though we had reservations, others were seated prior to us. We had to remind them we were waiting. Several groups were there without masks and others kept removing their masks while waiting to be seated. No social distancing was followed in the lobby. Once seated, the service was good even though we never received our salad. The appetizer and entree was excellent.
Overall food quality, portions and service have gone down.
NO LES IMPORTA QUE RESERVES CON OPEN TABLE, AUN CON RESERVACION DE OPEN TABLE TE HACEN ESPERAR DOS HORAS, OJO TENGAN CUIDADO CON ESO
Great food and service amazing views
