Landry's Seafood House - Denver
Exceptional service. Good food, although closer to average than above average (on par with what one should expect from a chain of this level). The reason I am writing three stars is because it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant… Despite people shivering everywhere, nobody seem to turn on the heat or the AC down. The unpleasant temperature took away from the overall experience.
They really push their membership card but didn’t tell us it cost $25. They just added it to our bill without us knowing. When we asked what the extra $25 was they told us the card cost money but “don’t worry, you’ll have a $25 credit the next time you come in”. It seemed underhanded as we would not have signed up if we knew it cost money. Beware!
Food was great! Went there for our anniversary to take advantage of the Sunday and Thursday special of all you can eat crab. It was fantastically flavored and amazingly filling. I'd definitely come back.
This was our 2nd visit to Landry’s, the service and the food ( esp the food ) was just as nice as our first visit. I highly recommend Landry’s for a any occasion meal.
Everything was great we had a great time food was excellent service was awesome
Appetizers were good but main course for dinner, trout and swordfish mediocre. Salad was also marginal, with brown and wilted lettuce, blue cheese dressing disappointing.
The food was mediocre at best, was expecting what Landry’s use to be, food really wasn’t that good, wait staff was below average, I will not ever recommend Landry’s
We never received our appetizer or side with our entree.
Our first time at this Landry's establishment, it was great!!! Love the seafood, terrific service, wonderful lunch celebrating Thursday.
Very good over all. What makes not perfect is somewhat slow service which, I assume, due to lack of staff.
Food was very good. Service was a little slow at first but server was attentative.
Fresh fish platters and wedge salad appetizers are a bit pricey but the iced tea was the very best
Our entree was wonderful (cedar plank salmon)--we enjoyed it very much. We enjoyed our server was polite and came to our table appropriately. It was my significant other's birthday and it was just a very pleasant evening for both of us.
Table of 8 people we were late to arrive as we had a previous event. Called the restaurant to let them know and they were very kind to hold our table. Once at the restaurant it took at least 20 mins before we saw our waiter, Carl. He took our drink orders and we waited another 20 mins before receiving them. A couple at our table ordered a bottle of wine and it never came when we asked Carl what happened he stated that they were out of that particular wine so our friends indicated they would order a wine by the glass. Again a very long wait until they got their wine. It took a very long time to get menus and finally order our food. The food finally arrived and it was delicious. Then it took Carl a long time to get our checks and take payment. At one point we stood up and called his name to come back and take care of us. The restaurant was mostly empty at this time so not sure what he was doing. It took almost 3 hours from time we sat down to time we paid our bill. Might have to re-think coming back to Landry’s again or make sure we r seated in someone else’s section who can better handle a party of 8.
Service was friendly and professional. Even though my mom had to send back the dish as it was over cooked. Everything else was pretty good.
Good dinner we had a good time. Food was good, service was a bit slow but the restaurant was crowded. That is normally a good sign.
The service was awful. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Waiter came took our drink order. After we got our water everything went down hill. It took 15 minutes for him to come take our order. Then once order was placed my husband’s appetizer was brought out 15 minutes later without mines. Our meal took another 30 minutes. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experience I’ve had a Landry Seafood. My husband is a Landry Select member. This members typically requires the management to come over and Thank him for being a part of this group. The manager did not come after we informed he waiter. We left not feeling value snd probably won’t be going back.
Food average. Service was fine though a bit slow given that they were not busy.
The food was nothing special and a little overpriced. My husband and I had seafood specials. The burgers the kids ordered were over cooked. Our waiter was extremely nice and accommodating. When you walk in the restaurant it smells musty like an old ship.
Good food and great service. We went at lunch time on a week day, so there was no wait. We sat down and we're greeted by our server right away. Margarita was great; tasted like it was made with real lime juice and not a mix.
Amazing food, great place. Go here or else you are missing out
Management was awesome! Had an issue with our open table reward and they were great to handle it. FYI all you can eat king crab legs on Thursday and Sunday night for $70. Here’s a tip, bring a pair of leather gloves! Your hands will thank me!
Great overall experience at Landry’s.
Cajun crawfish bread was awesome!
The staff was very friendly and attentive, especially our waitress. It was a wonderful evening for our family and we could not have asked for a better experience!
It was awesome.
We have been to Landry's on several occasions and had the king crab legs which were delicious. Most recently visited on Sunday because they promote all you can eat crab legs. The crab on Sunday is not the same as it is during normal dinner service. They were quite small and not as flavorful, not the huge legs you get when ordering the crab leg dinner. Very disappointed. Took my wife there for her birthday, and was embarrassed by the low quality. Do not go for the all you can eat crab. You will be disappointed.
Ridiculous pricing and rude staff. Won’t be going back.
Food was overpriced. Portions small. Wait staff inattentive. Took my mom there for a celebration and was disappointed! Didn't receive bread with the salads or straws with the drinks
Appetizer was sized for one, not two.
Appetizers were great, but my steak wasn't cooked correctly (asked for medium rare, got barely medium) and the lobster was overcooked; very stringy and chewy. The service was great and the waiter was very attentive, but I'm not sure the food was good enough to come back.
Our waiter Reynaldo was excellent and food was great.
The calamari was not cooked properly.
The crab cake was a good quality but had no flavor.
Landry’s is a go-to for us on special occasions. And I don’t want to make it out to seem as if it were awful. We have several allergies so we know that makes things difficult for a server. But asking for bread twice and not getting any, the salads were wrong, my husband’s meal was wrong (admittedly server error), and overall the food wasn’t as great as it has been in the past. My husband was asked, as we were there celebrating my birthday, if I’d like chocolate cake or creme brûlée for my dessert. He replied creme brûlée, but I was brought chocolate cake. 😞
Salmon overcooked, very small appetizers, fried fish bland.
We had lobster and the crab legs. Food was great...ate at a booth in the bar..,excellent service’
Great service, but being from Louisiana, I have high expectations for seafood. After to being to quite a few Landry’s, this was def not a flagship location. As I said, the service was great, but food eh. To pay 27.00 for seafood, and get 4 small friend shrimp, a pretty thick piece of catfish, huge blood line, and one stuff shrimp that was about an inch in diameter with a plate covered in soggy friend and onion strings was disappointing, but nothing was wrong with it, I’m just used to better. Oh, and hope you like spicy bc anything fried is coated in spicy, overtakes the taste of the actual seafood. I will give them a thumbs up on the crawfish bread, really good and the bread pudding was as good as any I’ve had at a Landry’s. We got that to go, not sure why they added already melted ice cream to the bag, but whatever. Ice cream isn’t a typical bread pudding topping
Enjoyed the food. Service was very slow and the waitress was not anything outstanding. Very short with comments and rarely came and checked on us.
Enjoyed very much great dinning experience
One of the best dinners I have ever had! Food was AMAZING!
