Great indian food. We loved our meal. Delicious appetizers. Try them all. Ordered lively korma and Dahl as mains. Gracious service. Prompt seating. Very pretty decor. Comfortable. We will be back!

Made reservation based on pictures of their nice dining room a week in advance. Arrived to be crammed onto a enclosed patio, next to the shuttered lunch buffet and full of screaming children. Additionally, the waiter practically forced us to vote for them on a "best of Asheville" website, actually trying to take my phone out of my hand and when I resisted pressing the submit button for me. Clearly there is a high-pressure campaign being pressed upon them by management. I found it very off putting. The food, however, was very good. Kitchen has chops.

After Hurricane Helene caused Andaaz to close, we finally made an occasion to visit Laila, and were thrilled to find our favorite menu items there. I found the food as well-prepared as we had come to expect from Andaaz, and we quickly warmed to the more urban ambience in this sister restaurant. Lovely dinner and great food… we’ll certainly be back!
