"Taste the fresh, vibrant flavours of Napoli in central London as Laboratorio Pizza opens its second eatery on London’s bustling Great Portland Street.

For more than 20 years, head chef and owner Ivan Simeoli has drawn upon Mediterranean traditions and worked with authentic local ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes that truly evoke the Neapolitan way of life.

Ivan has created a menu that focuses on artisan bread-making, part of the cultural tradition of his homeland. As such, all dishes at Laboratorio Pizza in Fitzrovia will have a bread or dough element – and all prepared on site from scratch.

Lovely little restaurant hidden away. Food was unbelievably good, the pizza sauce was amazing. We couldn’t finish our pizzas after a big starter so took them with us and they were still great the next day. Intimate setting and good service too. Recommend highly!

Food was good but restaurant was very quiet (we were the only guests for most of the time!). Service was quick and fine too. Only downside was the waitress cheekily decided to give us a bill charging 100% of the price on a day they do Eat Out To Help Out discount. We had to ask for the discount, after which she applied it. Didn't quite understand why that happened if they advertise the offer on the website.

Being located a few minutes away from Oxford Circus our venue is usually buzzing with a great atmosphere and it might have been quiet at the time you visited because we are in the middle of a pandemic and the hospitality sector has been struggling for a few weeks. We are glad that you enjoyed both the food and the sleek service and that the discount was applied without any quibbles after what was an oversight by a new member of staff.
