Cozy with a great drink selection. The appetizers Are fantastic, we had the dumpling with wagyu. The choosing of the cut of meat was great, as well the information about the cuts. Finally the grilling of the steaks were perfection.

Disappointed by the Hype: A Confusing and Underwhelming Experience I had high hopes walking into this restaurant, lured by descriptions of an "exclusive dining adventure". Unfortunately, the reality fell flat — and fast. Despite the upscale branding and price tag, the atmosphere was surprisingly casual, with a clientele that felt more suited to a neighborhood diner than a fine dining venue. The tone was immediately off — not warm or sophisticated, just oddly mismatched and awkward. When we inquired about a more extensive cocktail menu, our waiter candidly admitted they didn’t have a liquor license. Can you sell gin drinks without a liquor license? The food didn’t redeem the mood either. We ordered the wagyu potstickers, expecting richness and refinement, but instead were served what tasted like seasoned meatloaf in a soggy wrapper. With only one side dish option available and minimal staff attention, the overall experience continued to unravel. We ultimately left before even ordering dinner. Between the confusing ambiance, inattentive service, and disappointing appetizers, we couldn’t justify staying. The concept may aim for exclusivity, but the execution was confusing, underwhelming, and not worth returning for.

All 3 steaks were cooked to the wrong temperature. We waited 15 minutes for a waiter and no one ever came over to us/we couldn’t get anyone’s attention so we just ate them. When we finally got a sever to come to our table we had mostly finished and the manager said we should have informed them sooner which we tried to do. The fact that they charge what they do but can’t tell the difference between medium rare (which we wanted) and well done (what we got) is concerning. They had to apologize to a lot of different tables the same night.

La Wagyeria was such a great experience. My partner and I went on Saturday night and everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Juan, the owner, was super welcoming and shared a bit about their story, which made it feel even more special. The Wagyu was incredible—raised on their ranch in Okeechobee with a real focus on quality and care. It was also really cool that we got to hand-pick our cuts with the help of their head butcher, who was super knowledgeable and walked us through everything. Great vibe, amazing food, and genuinely kind people. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The meat they offered were the left overs. I saw a waiter picking up silverware from the floor and put right on my table. Their prices increased compared to the last 3 times I went. Used to be good but this was the least enjoyable of all.

Food was great and all, I just wish that we would have chosen our choice of steak first before the appetizers since it takes some time to watch the video and pick the piece of meat, so it’s about another 20-30 minutes before the entree comes out.

Not just a restaurant but an experience! You go into their meat lab where the butcher carves the piece of wagu you choose. The staff was all amazing and as an added bonus we met the owners!
