La Table - Marché
Located on the first floor of La Table, Marché exudes the vibrancy of a French market place. The casual feel makes it ideal for a working lunch, girls’ outing or afternoon cocktail and fresh seafood platter from the Raw Bar. At first blush, guests are taken in by the light, sunny décor and crisp service. Sit a while and you’ll see a constant flow of prosecco and rosé make their way to the stylish diners ordering Tomato Mozzarella Flatbread, Colossal Lump Crab Salad, Spiced Tuna Niçoise, Wild Mushroom Ravioli, sides of French Fries, and of course, items from our raw bar.

The food and was great and service even better. The man at the dessert counter was so nice and he even gave me a sample to take home. I will definitely be back
1st time visit. Dropped in for HRW lunch. Really fabulous - we were looked after by Max who was absolutely fantastic. Ate in La Marche can't wait to find out what La Chateau has in store. Highly Recommended!!
First time to visit and we will certainly be back!
Charming atmosphere, fantastic cuisine, attentive and friendly staff. One of my new fav's!
Fabulous in every way—every staff person (especially Mandy & man at candy counter) made it wonderful!
This place was excellent in the past, but tonight it didn't fly, soup tasted more buttery than like vichyssoise, the mussels were dried out. Usually this place is great, but not really tonight.
Quite nice, but noisy considering that there were very few patrons for a Monday lunch. The intrusive music was totally unnecessary. More importantly, the food was excellent, the service first class, and the décor unusual but pleasing. Prices were appropriate except for the wines which were marked up more than in most Houston restaurants. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and we intend to return frequently.
Perfect, as usual! The live music is a plus! Love this place! Wonderful!
First time to try this restaurant. We had reservations for Marche, but decided to go upstairs to Chateau. The more up-scale version of the La Table restaurant family. We were wonderful impressed. Excellent service, very attentive, pleasant, and friendly. Our dish was well prepared and fabulous. Would recommend for a special occasion.
Our lunch was wonderful.
The mushroom flatbread delicious and the Colossal Lump Crab salad was amazing!!!
We were celebrating moving back into our Meyerland home post Harvey.
Manager Andrea Manzzoni treated us with a champagne toast to close out lunah!
Excellent food ambiance and service. I will do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved sitting outside with the live music! Perfect romantic evening!
Love the restaurant, upstairs and down---food and service outstanding. Downstairs lunch was too noisy, though---hard to hear each other.
Wonderful, as usual.
Overpriced but nice atmosphere
Excellent! Really enjoyed it. It was our first time to visit and it was a real joy. Service was great, food was impeccable, and atmosphere was refined but not stuffy. Will go back.
Our server Max was excellent and the tomahawk chop steak was like nothing I have ever experienced!
Food quality has changed, not as good as when it first opened. Especially the plating, it used to have a wow factor, now is very average
Flatbreads are my favorite. Cucumber avocado salad is also very good. Got the Moroccan chicken, good but will try something else next time.
The food is fresh, the presentation superb and the flavors delightful. We return often for the wonderful food and the exceptional service. The cucumber salad in the photograph is a springtime favorite.
Always a wonderful dining experience at LaTable. Beautifully presented, outstanding food.
Too noisy. Otherwise very good. Did not love wine choices by the glass.
Always a favorite but the service was a little slow this time, however, that wont keep us from returning because we love it.
I loved the ambiance of La Table. My family and I went there for my birthday and really enjoyed it. We had two toddlers with us and I felt the staff were very accommodating to our needs and kind when the 2 year old was a little loud. The food and drink were very good good (I loved the lobster bisque and great wine selection).
We asked for a table outside, as the Houston late afternoon weather was wonderful.
Our table was perfect and our waiter, Max, was very knowledgeable and attentive, without hovering.
We both ordered the catch of the day, Idaho red trout with asparagus and quinoa -all amazing. A nice bottle of wine wine accompanied the meal.
The fabulous chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream topped off our special dinner.
A perfect meal and a perfect evening.
It was an exhilarating experience until I got the bill. I did not ask the prices because I was with a business guest and did want to appear concerned about price when the specials were announced to me. I got a simple tomato pasta dish special that was $30, which seemed pretty expensive for a vegetarian entree then I noticed on the bill an additional $20 for the crab meat on the pasta. The waitress offered it as a choice of crab meat or Beef but I had know idea it was an additional $20. Maybe $5-10 could have been manageable but $50.00 for a lunch time pasta dish was simply more than I was ever prepared for. I did not make a scene because I was entertaining
Very cozy environment and made for a perfect birthday dinner date with my husband. The live band played songs that were straight from my high school/college days so that was even better! Our waiter was so nice and explained everything about the menu flawlessly! I could sing praises for the food, but it would take more than the 2,000 provided character count this review box allows. Let me just say that the chocolates that took the place of the after dinner mint were to die for and I am going back to buy some at the pastry counter!
Love this place!
Quick lunch during a conference. Service was excellent, quinoa and kale salad delicious!
The Service was perfect, the food was impeccable. Incredible wine selection.
The lobster was one of the best dinners we’ve experienced
It was an wonderful dining experience.
Our waitress, Mandy, made our evening perfect.
The restaurant was definitely in the weeds from the first moment we arrived. We checked in with our reservation only to be told they were “just clearing away your table now”. Half an hour later, a party with no reservation was seated ahead of us and we were still left standing there like idiots waiting for Godot.
The hostess stand was a tag team of different employees none of whom were talking to each other to coordinate seating. Frequent queries about our reservation were dismissed with a “shouldn’t be too much longer now”. Eventually we were offered an inside table when we had originally requested a patio table.
We ordered drinks and our meals at the same time since we were now starving almost an hour after our original reservation time. The cocktails were fine, but my eggs Bennie came out lukewarm with a fully hard center poached egg, like it had been sitting on the pass cooking for a while. They eventually made everything right, but it was far from the pleasant Easter brunch experience we were expecting.
We like the restaurant, but will never come back here for a special event since they just don’t seem to be able to handle to influx of diners.
Very poor experience, I will not be going back. Very over priced for the experience.
Love this place! I come here every chance I get when I am in the area. My favorite is the burrata mozzarella and tomato salad. The best I have ever had. The french onion soup was excellent too. Very flavorful. You also have to try the eclairs. They are perfect. Price is steep but quality is outstanding.
Service not to expectation.. ordered a wine bottle that arrived 10 minutes after food 🤔
Expensive for what this is
Gorgeous day to sit on patio!
Our entire experience in Marche' level was outstanding. Comfortably elegant surroundings and tasty food served in good portions. Everything we ate had great presentation and something unique about each dish. Our server, Max, is intuitive, interactive and informed about food and wine.
Excellent food and service! We will definitely be back.
Loved this place! Everything about it was wonderful - patio, decor, service and of course food. Drinks were lovely. That said, it was ridiculously expensive. ($19 for avocado toast?!) I'll be back, but only on special occasions.
