By far the best Italian food i have ever had and i have even spent a good amount of time in Italy
Loved the pianist during dinner
We really enjoy the dining atmosphere at La Scala's. The food was great and our server was wonderful.
The $35 3 course special is a great deal. We get it everything and take half of the food home to make a second meal out of it!
It makes for a great evening with a piano quietly playing in the background while you enjoy wonderful Italian meals. Great for families and groups.
Risso entry was very salty. Italian dessert was 2 scoops of cake soaked in Rum. Normally we get the lemon veal and it is usually very good.
It’s such a beautiful place.and food is outstanding and hot.she treats us very nice. Thank you very much.
Great food, huge portions
Food, service, and piano music were great. Would definitely return.
We decided to go early for Happy Hour, the bar staff were not particularly friendly and asking about happy hour was like pulling teeth. As the restaurant was not busy you would think they would be happy to welcome people. We remembered this is why we haven't been there in awhile as same thing happened when we went a couple of years ago. Once we were seated at table service and food were good
My husband and I both had ravioli. It was excellent, except his was hot and mine was only lukewarm. Disappointing, but we told our server and she immediately took it back to the kitchen. We love La Scala since they first opened and will continue to shine there.
The waiter was not organized and seem preoccupied with other matters.
He did not use a tray to bring out the glasses of wine and bread and held the wine glasses against his body to bring to the table.
The food was good (veal and eggplant parmigiana). We ordered salad, but the waiter never brought them out. When we finished our meal we were never asked if we cared for dessert.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and piano music. We have had much better service in the past.
We chose to come here for a family event that included an elderly relative, a couple picky eaters, and those who really enjoy great food. Everyone was happy. The service was attentive, the menu had items that satisfied everyone's palate and the price was appropriate. It has been a while since we were there (we live on the other side of town), but we will definitely be back.
The experience was great. The food was superb. The piano playing across the room really made the atmosphere perfect.
This was the first time at La Scalia in many years. We went in search of a good meat-free dinner on a Lenten Friday. I had intended to order the grouper but spotted linguine with clam sauce. The menu description included cream and I asked that it be prepared without cream. Both the server and the kitchen were very accommodating. The dish was well prepared and nicely flavored with more than a dozen cherry stone clams in their shells.
Excellent food, large portions and excellent service. Quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants!
This was our first time visiting but definitely will not be our last. Service was exceptional! $35 for a full appetizer, choice of entree and desert was way too much food. Took half of our entrees home.
I have paid more at other restaurants for a full meal that was less food than the meatball appetizer.
You know it was good when we are talking about the restaurant the next day.
We liked the food very much, even if a little pricey. The waiter was ok but not a lot of personality.
We were seated at table that wobbled, then moved to a table where the light overhead our table was burned out. I didn't complain about it, but I didn't like it.
Enjoyed my dinner and the staff it was our 32nd anniversary
This is our restaurant of choice prior to half marathon races in the Columbus area. Always great food.
Was a nice place to eat great food and atmisfear. Would highly recommand it.
Could have used a little more of a friendly hostess but the service after being seated was very fast and efficient! Shout out to our waiter who took the time to take our picture for us after we were done eating as we were celebrating our second anniversary! The food was delicious and the dessert I took to go was amazing! Wish we could have stayed for the live music but having a small child makes for an early bedtime. Thanks for a great experience and making our celebration a good one!
We have been there many times, and my adult son chose this as the restaurant for his birthday dinner, bummer he was born so close to Valentines Day. We were hoping everyone would have had it out of their system 2 days after, but no. They were great to accommodate 2 extra people in our group the day of reservation. Our poor server ran his legs off, and felt bad, but long gaps. The sweet girl refilling water and clearing the table did a great job. We learned our lesson, no more dinners around Valentines day. Glad they are doing well, they were packed all night.
Best eggplant parmesan in the city!!!
An incredible dinner experience with outstanding ambiance, food, and service. The piano player was magnificent and made our dinner out that much better. Loved everything!!!
The food was good and our service was good. However, when we arrived for our Valentine's weekend dinner we were initially seated in a banquet room. The atmosphere was not good, bad lighting and sparse decorations - obviously set up for banquets not romantic atmosphere I was expecting. I asked the hostess to move us and after giving us a bit of attitude, we were moved into the main dining room. In the end, we enjoyed our meal but the first place they tried to seat us was not conducive of the price I paid. I made the reservation well in advance and would have liked to know that was where we were going to be seated. I would have chosen another restaurant.
Wasn’t impressed. Margherita pizza used canned tomatoes, barely any basil, and regular mozzerella cheese, not buffalo mozz. Chicken Rosa came out luke warm but tasted ok, salted carmel cheesecake was disappointing. Defintely not homemade. Atmosphere was nice. Service was mediocre. It was early on a Friday night, so not busy yet. Won’t be rushing back with all the amazing dining options in the area.
Wow whenever i miss Italy i always come to Lascala. I can see why they were voted best Italian in 17,18 . I honestly think some of the dishes i have here are better then what i had in Italy .
Fantastic place to eat. Had a Valentine's day dinner here with my fiancee. They start you with complimentary bread with oil and butter. We both got chicken parmesan (with fettuccine Alfredo) and it was amazing. It wasn't very saucy, just enough to let you know it was there. The ambiance was great with live piano music. It could get a little noisy at times to where I had to ask my fiancee to repeat herself but I've been to places that were much much worse. We also got a $30 bottle of wine that our server had no problem telling us was $10 at Kroger. Really we shouldn't be surprised but it does hurt the pocket book a little more. For 2 entrees, a bottle of wine, and tip, we spent $90. Not something we'll be doing very often but for a Valentine's day dinner, worth it!
Great place, great food and great time, We enjoyed the live piano music during the dinner.
It had been years since we'd visited La Scala. We were extremely impressed at the updates that they'd made to the venue and the menu. The piano player on Valentine's Day made it all the more special. We will definitely be back soon!
Great food and ambiance. We were sat quickly and the staff was very attentive. Food was great and we enjoyed a fantastic evening out.
One of my favorite restaurantss in town. A beautiful setting, superb waiters and I have never had a meal that was not delicious Thank you La Scala for another memorable meal and a delightful night out.
La Scala's luncheon buffet is the best offer in town. A lot of choices for only $10.50.
We went in on a snowy day this time. Not a lot of people there. So, very quiet this time. Food was always wonderful.
First time here with the wife. Looking for Italian food in the greater Dublin area. We had a fantastic time. Had the eggplant parm. It was outstanding! Will visit again for sure. .
Server was average , food wasn't LaScalla quality , chicken was nothing more that a breaded deep fried slab, wasn't as hot as it should have been. Loved the piano.. just not the quality that we've experienced before..
Overall we always have a good experience at LaScala. Unfortunately this time they were having pizza oven issues which significantly delayed our food. The server was very polite and professional about the situation and thankfully she brought out my children’s food beforehand. Slight snafu but We will be back.
Love the luncheon buffet. Best price in town!
