It is so sad that this amazing restaurant will be closing. We will miss the amazing ambience, delicious food, and great piano player!
The food was delicious just like it always is!! Service was awesome and we really enjoyed the piano man!!!
I went to La Scala one last time hoping that I would enjoy it as much as all my previous visits. However, this was the WORST visit I ever had. We invited two others and our waiter seemed like he was very indifferent about being there--almost irritated. My husband ordered a salad. He didn't bring it. My husband got his main meal, and reminded the waiter that he had ordered a salad. The waiter said he would bring it and take it off the bill. It was NOT taken off the bill. I got my food and had Chicken Parm with Alfredo. The noodles were not even warm. I had asked for some extra sauce, which I had poured on my meal, so I asked the waiter to heat my meal up in the microwave. He brought a whole new meal, which got rid of the sauce that I had wanted... and the noodles were again COLD. So this time, I told the waiter and he heated it up in the microwave. It took forever to get any refills. Gosh, I REALLY wanted this to be a great experience because I absolutely LOVE La Scala. It certainly left me wishing I had not gone back for a last experience because I would have rather remembered all of the wonderful times there. The waiter was taking so long to do anything we just paid the bill as it was and didn't say anything about the salad. We spent $150 on dinner... and wish we had gone to Chick-Fil-A instead. SOOOO disappointing!
LaScala has always been an outstanding restaurant. Sad to see that COVID has claimed another family owned/operated business. Food was always great, atmosphere very comfortable and enjoyable. Will miss the weekend evening with the piano player and the wonderful staff. Good luck to one & all!
So sad to see this restaurant close. We decided to have one last dinner. It was amazing as usual.
Everything was perfect! From the service to the food. We'll miss you La Scala!
Amazing! So sad to see this place is closing it will truest be missed. I hope the pine nut crusted grouper moves to the other restaurant owned by this family.
Unfortunately, LaSacala is closing it’s doors. This was our last wonderful meal there.
Great food. Great service. Fast service. Great options.
Overall very good...😊
You missed your chance. This is the last week. If you are able to get a last reservation, take it. You will not regret.
disappointing. Food was good but service was not good at all
So sad LaScala is closing! Lots of memories at the restaurant! The restaurant had every table full and a big party over in the corner, so patrons are getting in their meals at the restaurant.
Will miss la scala.
Good experience but nostalgic and very sad 😢 to see LaScala close.
Everything was amazing! We are sad they are closing
Last ever visit.
Our server was outstanding. The bread was outstanding. The food was great.
First time customer. Had to try the place out before it closes at the end of this month. I can see why it’s such a loved place by all. Truly sad to see it go. Beautiful layout, lovely auro with a live pianist, delicious food and drinks, good staff.
Our greeter was awesome. Servers were ok. We were seated next to the piano. When she played my brother couldn't hear. I was disappointed in my chicken marsala! Could not taste the marsala at all! My salad selection was delicious.
We love La Scala and are sorry to see it close October 31, 2020. We've been going there since it opened in 1972. They've hosted many events for my wife and I including her high school graduation celebration, my parents surprise 50th anniversary and my retirement/60th birthday. We were very close with all of their owners & staff.
We will miss them dearly!
Great restaurant, we wanted to have dinner before they close . Very sad
Always excellent. Sorry to see them close. Glad to know that the tradition will continue at Vittoria.
Food as expected. No social distancing at the bar and dining room. Scary.
Enjoyed the evening very much! Very sad to see they will be closing at th3 end of the month!
The food was wonderful and we had a great time! So sorry that this restaurant is closing!
I'm so glad we obtained an opportunity to visit before closing. Thank you La Scala!
La Scala never disappoints! I am beyond sad about the loss of the owner and now this wonderful restaurant and party venue. We have marked many milestones celebrating at La Scala and will miss it.
We will miss La Scala Italian Bistro. Thanks for being part of the community.
Love the food and the restaurant!
It is a great place for a wonderful date night. The food is amazing and the music and atmosphere is great
Its unfortunate they are going out of business. We had wonderful fun and service.
Dined at 5pm with a friend. As always, superlative experience in all respects. It's heartbreaking that this icon of nearly 50 years will be lost due to COVID-19 (cancellation of wedding and other events that comprised the greater part of the business).
Food and service excellent. Love the piano player!
As always delicious! Curtis and I love La Scala! Planning to go again next week. We grew up eating at La Scala and are sad to see it go.
Food was good. Service is excellent. Its a shame this place is closing down. :(
LaScala has always been our go to restaurant. We have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries there, along with New Year's Eve. We love the ambiance and all who work there. So sorry they are closing but totally understand the reasoning behind it! We will see you all at Vittorias!
Good last meal at LaScala - sorry to see it close, but have had great memories there.
Very good food and service. Zero social distancing so if you have any concerns, be aware. All tables were seated with guests on a busy Sunday night for dinner. Masks were required and worn by all patrons when not dining. Extremely great service. Lasagna and chicken parm were big hits at our table. Sorry to hear they will be closing at end of October. 2020 has been a rough year.
I have been wanting to go and finally made the time, it was so worth it!!
