Tucked away in a strip mall is this gem of a restaurant. We found it through Open Table. The décor is rather spare, but the food more than makes up for the odd location and décor. The wine list is deep and offers hidden treasures, and the beef bourguignon is the best I have ever tasted. Our party also enjoyed the crabmeat salad and the steak au poivre. If you are in the Clear Lake/Seabrook area of Houston, this is a must stop!

I recently discovered this little gem in my neighborhood. The food is the best in the area and I keep gping back for more! My family had Chriatmas Eve dinner at La Poz and it was outstanding! They also have a great brunch and often have someone playing the guitar or piano. Lovely place!

I took the foodies in my family here for brunch. They were nervous about a French restaurant in Clear Lake. They admitted to being wrong and absolutely loved the place. We had a mixture of everything on the menu and everything was wonderful. They had a man singing and playing guitar. I was a very relaxing and tasty brunch.

We discovered this place a month ago and we have already been twice! The atmosphere has a nice neighborhood feel. The owner Jan (pronounced Yan) is there most every night and he is terrific. It is real french cooking! My wife loves the Steak Au Poivre and I love the Boeuf Bourguignon. This is a neighborhood gem, give it a try you won't be sorry. We also had the They also have an awesome brunch on the weekends.

We stopped at La Poz for Sunday brunch on our way back to Dallas. The food and the service were excellent. Loved the crepes and croissants. It's a little bit of Paris in Seabrook Texas. If we lived closer I would surely be a frequent patron of La Poz. Merci!

It is so nice to have something new and interesting in Clear Lake. The food at La Poz is very good. The brunch had a wide variety of selections and they are very open to substitutions. We enjoyed meeting the owner and will be back often.

What I remember most was the food was delicious but the service and atmosphere put the food to shame. Everyone was so welcoming and put you at ease straightaway. And what's better than free wine? A free wine top-off. I'll go back because I felt at home even though I can't cook French food to save my life. Good times!
