   Had a reservation for 3pm on a Saturday. We waited about 15 minutes after our reservation to be seated. Server was super nice. Sat outdoors which was nicely shaded. Speakers over each table are a bit too loud for easy conversation. Food was delicious but extremely overpriced. Vegan options are minimal, in that there are only 3 and they are pasta and crushed tomatoes or plain pizza dough with marinara sauce and nothing else (and they charge $18-$20 for those options). 4 people for a late lunch was $192.00. Overall a nice experience but I ridiculously overpriced.

   The pasta, pizza and wine were delicious. But the tables were small and tight together for large plates and pizza. Service was mehhh. Birthday dessert with candle were brought while we were still eating our mains. Weird. Desert gelato cone holder had gold paint chips falling off it. The food was great but overall experience was overpriced.

    Because I didn’t finish my lasagna and asked to take the test home I asked the waiter for a teaspoon of the red sauce. I told him when microwaving it can sometimes dry. He came back and said he was told that we can go buy a container in their store otherwise it would be too expensive!! This blew me away thus was our first time dining here the food was good but this left us with a “bad taste” to return to this restaurant.

    It was a spur of the moment decision to have dinner. It was our first time there. We had the Carpaccio appetizer, the Quadrati di Spinach, the Norcina and 2 glasses of cabernet. All portions were small. Carpaccio was OK. House made pasta was good, but not great. Wine was very good. ~$130 excluding tip for two.

    Manuel was amazing! Provided amazing service and showed us the best menu items. The restaurant was a little bit more pricey than we were expecting, but there's truly nothing like it. If you're in the area, drop by!

    This is an edit to my previous review. After speaking with the manager we agreed to give this restaurant another try. Felipe was our waiter and we highly recommend him. Service, speed, food and efficiency all improved with this visit. Only one complaint. The Calamari has Zucchini in it. Don't get me wrong it was tasty, but the portion of Calamari has diminished. We would visit again. Thanks, Lauren for taking care of us.

    We've been back a few times, but this visit was a real let down. This restaurant is a pricey endeavor, but the food is generally good. This visit, however, was a real let down. We arrived early and asked if we could be seated (about 10 min early). The hostess proceeded to check us in - then said come back at your reservation time. I mean why go thought the process as if you're going to seat me? To be clear I was there at 11:35a for a 11:45a reservation. Sadly, this intro just led to more disappointment. We were finally seated in a tight corner in an otherwise wide open restaurant. We ordered a pizza and ravioli to share as well as 2 glasses of wine. They made it a point to say the ravioli would come 1st as it would be faster. Then...the pizza arrived and was unceremoniously dropped off....the ravioli arrived and dropped off much in the same manner. 5 to 10 min later the wine arrived. No offer of cheese/pepper (it was offered to our neighbors that arrived 20 min after we did). The whole visit was just disappointing and not worth the money they charge.

    Overall, we enjoyed our meal at La Pizza & La Pasta. The quality, ambiance and service were good. One area of improvement would be how the food is prepared and served. Our pasta dish came out of the kitchen lukewarm which was a bit disappointing.

    Justin was an amazing server. My husband and I had an amazing time for our anniversary here. My mother loved the pizza. The cocktails where consistent even with how packed the restaurant was. The food was just perfect. I can’t wait to come back and try some more things on the menu.

    Loved the food here, but since it's Valley Fair/Westfield, it's naturally going to be expensive. To get to the restaurant, you first have to fight the rush-hour-like traffic in the parking lot with no hope of finding a parking pace, so kiss $21 good-bye for valet parking to start. Then, you have to battle a horde of shoppers, gawkers, tourists, and mall rats to navigate the maze that is Eataly. Dinner at La Pizza & La Pasta included two cocktails, one shared appetizer, and two entrees and came to $138...$160 with tip. Service was decent but the place seemed understaffed. Sad to say, but the only way I will put up with the downsides again is if somebody else is paying.

    The employee Farnoosh Homayoun was very tactful in dealing, and I thank her very much for her more than wonderful dealings. She is a very respectful, helpful and cheerful person in receiving customers. She loves to serve and cooperate, and the food was very tasty and delicious.

    The food here was very good, although the portions were on the smaller side. The main reason I rated so low was for the service. Service was terrible. Our waiter was slow to even greet us and take our drink orders, we received our apppetizer long before our drinks were brought out (which we had to ask for several times), and when we tried to order dessert (twice), we were told both times the item was out. Now, I can understand the first time but shouldn't you then verify what you do have before presenting new options to your table? That way you don't have to go back a second time to tell your table the same thing? All in all the experience wasn't enough to make me not want to go back again. Everything we sampled was delicious and we enjoyed our meals very much. However, I will be hoping that we get better service next time around.

    Overall we were well taken care of. Server was attentive. We put celebrating a birthday but no one at the restaurant acknowledged. I expected the burrata to be delicious but it was firm and average. The bread was grilled and cold. Additional bread slices were served piled on a plate with a plate of olive oil that was hard to move around the table without spilling. Overall it was good but not special or delicious. P.S. we really like and sometimes love The calamari.

    My daughter and I, we had lunch at La Pizza & La Pasta to celebrate her Bday I was concern where to take her since she's a picky eater to my surprise she ate everything we order, food was delicious, we had a great time! Now she told me, she's taking her dad to celebrate father's day at La pizza & La pasta! myself I'm looking forward to take my partner for a wonderful Italian meal :)

    Good food. Terrible staff. They are not properly trained, rude and some don’t even speak English. They don’t know the menu which is a big deal since it’s an expensive place. Ordered the ice cream cones for desert and the waiter had no idea about the flavors and were totally different from what we ordered.

    Reservations for outside on a friday was set at 8:30. They had issues with their payment system. Ordered appetizers that came out in probably 15 minutes after waiting 20 minutes to take the order. Didn't get our food until close to 10 pm. They sent a caprese salad and ravioli comped but still given the hype and presentation, was not happy that our order wasn't entered and we had to wait that long. I'd be open to dining at Eataly again, but it was just have to be better.

    The food was delicious but the service was awful. The hostess was the most friendly & engaging. It took roughly 10mins for anyone to even acknowledge us once we sat down. & when she finally came over, she was cold, pretty sure she didn’t smile & only checked on us when we were done. But from the looks of the other servers, smiles & friendliness isn’t their thing.

    Excellent pasta choices. The Linguine allo Scoglio was excellent. Service was very friendly and helpful in choosing an Italian wine by the glass that complemented the meal. The salad Mediterraneo was also excellent with a delicious light olive oil dressing
