The only Eddie problem that we had was we had to wait almost a half hour to be seated. The hostess was fabulous. The service was great. We wanted to be near a window and they arranged that. The only negative was we had reservations for seven and we didn’t sit till 730. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening.

First time visit. Rainy night and we had the place pretty much to ourselves. Food was good, service outstanding. We'll be back.

The staff was more than pleasant and informative. I let people that were near us that were complaining about the way and yes, it was Mother’s Day. We had a reservation, but we had to wait. I explained that it is never like this if you come during the regular times service is phenomenal in the food is the best.. everything from the front door getting walked to the table to the food coming on the table and getting wrapped up was excellent. You’re definitely 10 stars.‼️‼️‼️

A lovely experience, a true fan Italian restaurant run by a family and people who truly care outside dining looked lovely. Even the bar had a level of class music and artistry around point and food was just as expected.

La Piazza’s food is a treat every time. From their regular menu items to their creative and delicious specials. The portions are large - Usually enough for two meals. Excellent variety and great drinks! This place is a treasure in Wallingford, CT.

Sabrina, the owner provided impeccable service along with her staff. She made me feel so special she remembered me from my very 1st dining experience back in April for my 60th birthday. We had dinner with friends and all 4 of us loved our meals !! Can't wait to go back.

We absolutely loved La Piazza and will definitely be returning. The food was phenomenal with large portions to take home. The bread is made on the premises, which was an added bonus. Our server was lovely and attentive. The only downside is that we made reservations online earlier in the day and the hostess was unaware of them when we arrived as she hadn’t checked the online reservations. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. There were several other parties that had online reservations after us that had to wait as well.

We went to La Piazza with some friends on a Saturday night. The entrees were all delicious and beautifully presented. One complaint would be with the calamari appetizer. The calamari were not fresh at all. They really appeared to be from a bag of frozen calamari rather than fresh. There were only 'rings' and the consistency was rubbery, chewy and really not edible. However the rest of the meal was delicious. Second issue, we were seated in a cramped corner immediately beside the door to the restroom. Honestly, my husband and I both had to move our chairs so that other patrons could get to the door to use the bathroom. I realize that times are tight but that table is absolutely insulting to guests paying good money for a night out. It would be a stretch for us to return. I think it shows a lack of consideration for the fact that patrons are there paying hard earned money just to be treated like second rate citizens sitting in the doorway to the bathroom.
