The food is top notch. Anything I've ordered off of this over the course of several visits has been 10/10. There is another location on Hillhurst Ave. in Los Feliz that is outstanding as well.

Our second time coming to this quaint restaurant and this time we brought another couple along. As it turns out we knew the server, Bianca, for many years from another restaurant and she's always been fabulous. Tonight was no different. We started off with a misto salad, burrata salad and polenta with mixed sauteed mushrooms. The misto salad was fine: fresh baby greens with tomatoes and cucumbers and a light dressing. The polenta was a big hit: the polenta was somewhat crisp on the outside and warm/gooey on the inside. The mixed mushrooms on top was the perfect accompaniment. The burrata salad was ok: it was basically a couple of medium sized dollops of burrata on a misto salad. Nothing special but nothing offensive. I would have preferred a more imaginative preparation like slices of tomato with red onion or basil leaves but it is what it is. My wife had the pappardelli pasta with the meat sugo and it was our favorite dish: hearty, flavorful and well prepared. I had the risotto with fruto di mare and it was quite good. The tough part about making risotto is that if it's under cooked it's crunchy; over cooked and it's gummy. This one was prepared quite well and the red sauce that came with the seafood was very good. Our guests are fussy eaters and, other than fish, don't eat any meats. One had the salmon with risotto and she was quite happy with it. Her husband had a fusilli with garlic and olive oil and was quite pleased. Overall our experience was excellent and this little gem is a great value. I will say it gets quite noisy when they are busy (which seems to be the norm these days) so be prepared to shout a lot to have a conversation. We will be back!

Cute little place trying to add some Italian authenticity to Silver Lake. The sauces are quite good but the pasta is questionable. My observation is they par-cook the pasta and then finish it off when an order comes up. The papardelle we ordered was somewhat shriveled with puckered edges and didn't appear to be fresh cooked. The restaurant is a good value and we will come back again to try other dishes

Food was uninspired and the service was slow. Took a long time to get our wine order in particular. Eggplant Parmesan was mushy although flavor was not bad. Arrabiata was extremely spicy, much more so than any I've ever had. Arugula salad was good.
