Loved our waiter and the bartender. Food was great as always
Great atmosphere and perfect for pre-symphony dinner. We will come back again!
We were there for the first time for Sunday brunch. It was a wonderful time. It is a very nice space. The service was incredible. The menu for Sunday brunch offers a lot of choices.
We have been here many times and every time all was perfect. This time however the salmon was very dry Service was excellent though and the guy who accommodated us in the room with bar instead of the first eating area was wonderful.
La Noria recently added brunch which we had to try since we had a great dinner there previously. The brunch menu offered a different array of options, some rooted in the Southwest style and other more traditional. Overall the items we ordered were prepared well and looked nice when plated. The service and ambience is exceptional.
A few thoughts to help the kitchen: the bacon omelet special was overly salted and the croissants too cold. One huge request os to up the coffee, it was more cafeteria tasting than restaurant quality.
We will be back!
Very nice and clean interior, waitress was very friendly and attentive, food was very good, our table had a mix of Mexican and Italian fare and we all were very happy.
Disappointing that they were out of Two James Vodka and substituting Tito's. The chicken mole pizza was disappointing - the mole sauce on it was so thin as to have almost no taste. A real disappointment as the mole is usually so wonderfully spiced. The calamari was excellent and the stir fried/crisped arugula was a really nice crunchy addition.
A group of people went out after work. The menu was very diverse, something there for everyone. It was a good place to eat and have nice conversation.
Good food. Service was pretry decent
Food drink and wait staff were all excellent!
Beautiful place. We really enjoyed ourselves. Prices were very reasonable.
We’ve been to El Barton and wanted to try their sister restaurant . So pleased. Lovely space, attentive service, everyone loved their food. We’ll be back with more friends.
Excellent fresh and tasteful food. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely return soon.
Great for lunch! Second time, order Mexican first time, Italian is his time. Both were very good.
I was shock that the food and service were poor. I have gone for years to El Barzon for years. The food and service is always excellent. The restaurant was cold. A big disappointment.
My only suggestion is to offer coffee with desert ',,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Tasty food and great service! This will definitely become a spot for us to dine regularly!
Very good food.
I very much enjoyed the space and the service we recieved was genuine and kind. The food we had was delicious.
Restaurant week. Husband enjoyed ragu with lamb. I did not like flour tortilla for fajita, for me too much flour, was all I could taste
I would go back to see the regular menu. We were there for restaurant week and felt the menu was mass produced for that event and was very bland
Very comfortable setting. Casual but not sloppy. The staff was very attentive and clean. The food was delicious. Simple but amazing flavor. Love their twist on the over done chips and salsa, it was great. I would definitely recommend trying this place, it's a great testament to what Detroit is doing with the food industry right now.
Overall pretty good. Not sure when I would go back, but I would give another try.
Delicious pizza! Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. Limited beer selection but the wine list was good enough. Ambiance would be great for a date, but there are also a few TVs so it’s not exclusively an intimate experience.
I had the seafood ravioli and it was delicious, very flavorful! The menu describes shrimp and lobster so I did expect some shrimp and lobster bites on top of the ravioli. The ravioli was stuffed with lobster and there was 1 shrimp on top which I thought was a little expensive for lunch at $23 for 5 lobster ravioli and 1 shrimp.
Absolutely marvelous! The chicken mole was sublime, so smoky and flavorful. Every bit as good as big brother El Barzone next door.
The ambiance of the restaurant is awesome and all the staff was super friendly. The service was a little slow but they were noticeably busy so I understand. The cocktails were so unique and tasty! I would definitely like to come back and try another round of fun cocktails and great food!
Wonderful food and service. Really cramped in the dining room. Felt like I was going to get a meal dropped in my lap. ; )
Cool space. Inventive and well crafted cocktails plus an agreeable wine selection for most. My group ordered items from both the Mexican and Italian side of the menu and were equally impressed. Minor negative was that menu was a little bloated and could have used a little curation, though our waitress helped us narrow down options effectively. Don't skip the green sauce!
First time at La Noria and very pleased by all aspects. The restaurant was very busy the service was top notched as was the food. A wide variety of options to select from. We end up with a pizza - very tasty, a pasta choice in a white sauce, fish tacos and a very flavor full fish soup that had a bountiful of fish a very tasty red sauce.
We will be back to try other selections!
Make sure to sit in the back room with the bar and pizza oven. The atmosphere is much better.
Great food...great value...our waiter didn't have a good knowledge of the menu...however everything else was excellent.
We had a very good time at La Noria Bistro! The staff was welcoming and friendly. Upon entering the first room was empty due to the cold winter evening but once in the anterooms, the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The menu, though similar to the sister restaurant next door, offered a few differences, especially in the preparation by La Noria's kitchen. The calamari appetizer was exceptional, a simple style and presentation. Our main dishes were very good as well, especially the lake perch with lemon & caper sauce! We'll be back for brunch and dinner!
Love the dining experience. I did not love the lasagna. Next time I will try something else.
It was a great spot, we went with a group. We loved the margaritas, service, food and place. Delicious! My favorite: the Clamari and salad. The Poblano pasta was delicious but too hot for me. My husband had Fajitas and he really enjoyed them. Everyone in the group enjoyed the clean, good and well presented food.
Bad: We were sitting for dinner next to a door to the patio. People kept going out & in to smoke and letting the January 15 F wind coming in. :(
I felt the menu resembled their sister restaurant next door
Overall experience was great. Service left something to be desired. Drinks took very long, guest meals did not come out at the same time. Bottle of wine didn’t come until after dinner.
Awesome food. Unique and interesting menu. Cool drinks. Fresh seafood and pasta. Very delightful meal.
