We really enjoyed our night out at La Noria. With Mexican and Italian both on the menu there’s definitely something for everyone. A couple of us shared that so that we could try both. Our waiter was super friendly and even though we declined on the desert offer because we were so full they brought us a complimentary flan to try and it was delicious.
Also they did a good job of social distancing and spreading the tables apart which is an added plus these days.
Decided to give this place a try and was not disappointed! Despite it being Sweetest day our server was attentive and the food was delicious!
The hardest decision at La Noria is to pick one of their fantastic Italian or Mexican dishes. Luckily on a recent visit I had both. Highly recommend the green enchiladas and the pasta with seafood. The food is good and service is great our server Ana do great job the manager is very attentive and helpful
Looking forward to returning the next time I'm in town.
Everything was great. Excellent service. Extensive menu. Lovely ambience.
1st time at restaurant. Like the decor and the outside area!
We sat at the bar. All tables and barstools were spaced properly apart. Started with complimentary chips and two kinds of homemade salsa, and a Petoskey Brewing IPA 👍🏻 I was glad they had an IPA. My husband and I split the octopus appetizer and a fungi pizza. Generous portions at reasonable prices. We will be back!
This is my third visit and every time has been excellent. The food is so good. Try the goat, the pizza with mushrooms & prosciutto and the chicken enchiladas! The bra Zion was also very good. We will definitely be back!
Easy to get a reservation. (Not nearly as busy as el Barzon, its sister restaurant next door.) Both Italian and Mexican items are excellent. The staff is completely bilingual (English & Spanish), and there’s a hint of Italian at times. Recommended: tacos, enchiladas, molé, chili rellenos, lasagna and all the house made pasta entrees. I’ve been eating at La Noria and el Barzon for years at least monthly, and have always had great meals and service. Parking is behind el Barzon, fenced and safe. Well worth your effort and time to find La Noria.
This place sits right in front of the more well known El Barzon. First time visitors to LaNoria and definitely won't be the last! Our group of 6 sat on the patio and it was perfect. Service was excellent. Appetizers & entries were wonderful. Try their Michigan Avenue Mule for a drink - yum! So glad we gave it a try. We'll be back for sure.
Me and my date really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I also appreciated how they accommodated social distancing.
Always a delicious meal and great service. Highly recommend!
What a great compliment to its sister restaurant El Barzon this place delivers with ambiance, great food and wonderful drink selections. We’ll be back
Really great relaxed atmosphere, with socially distant tables and seating
Lovely surprise when we walked inside. Great ambience and service. Inviting and interesting menu. Very hospitable hosts/waitstaff. Unfortunately, we weren’t terribly hungry, so weren’t very adventurous. What we had was very good. But we will definitely visit again!
Great spot if you hate searching for parking. Food was very enjoyable. Too many items on the menu in my opinion. Pizza was my favorite!
We loved our dining experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming and sexy. Can’t wait to come back!!
Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was amazing and service was excellent! Great for groups or date night!
Sister restaurant to El Barzon...similar (but not the same) menu and food quality...the atmosphere was a little nicer and more up to date...went with 6 others and everyone liked their meals and will be back.
We are always looking for new places and this came from Hour Magazine. Inside was surprising nice. Nice staff and very attentive. Food was average. Seems to be trying too much to be a blend of Mexican and Italian. Misses on both. My guess it would be much better as one or the other.
Food unfortunately was cold for several of us dining. Food was fair but very poorly seasoned. Service was great. Will not return.
Service was very slow... waitress seemed untrained... initial cocktails took 20 mins to get to us...
didn't get requests for more sauce for chips fulfilled...
The food was very good. I had
There were four of us and the meals were all excellent.
Food was delicious and drinks were good, however I wish service was just a little bit faster. Then again, it was a bust night so I can't blame them.
The food was incredible From the appetizer Shrimp LaNoria, to our entrees. AMAZING. We love it there!!
We went here for our Valentine's Day dinner. It was good crowd but didn't expect service to be as slow as it was. We waited about 15 minutes after sitting down before our server took our drink order. It appeared others seated prior to us had been waiting a while also. Entire dinner took about 2 hours and missed a movie we were planning to see. That said, food was good (not great). We would go back on an off night to see if it is truly bad service or just a busy Valentine's Day night. I recommend giving them a try.
Service started out slow but the food was good,
Terrific blend of menu items for everyone's palate. Outstanding food. Fantastic service.
Great food, atmosphere and service.
Food did cool off rather quickly after being served, but still good food.
We had an excellent meal at La Noria Bistro. Hubby had the goat barbacoa and octopus appitizer and I had the special, eggplant lasagna. All was very, very good!! The service was outstanding! We will be back.
La Noria Bistro was wonderful and I will definitely return. From the minute we were seated, our server brought us chips and salsa (which was out of this world). I ordered the caprese appetizer which is served in a tower for starting with a portobello mushroom, tomato, fresh mozzarella cheese and basil. It sits in a puree of basil and vinegar garnished with balsamic vinegar. Fantastic! Our entrees were veal parmigiana which was perfectly cooked and sauced and served with a generous side of spaghetti. I ordered the orecchiette with lamb ragu. Since the pasta is made in house and in limited quantities they had run out. So I asked for the ragu over fettuccini. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was seasoned perfectly. Finally for my birthday I was served a decadent piece of chocolate cake on a large platter wishing me a happy birthday. There are many things on the menu that are interesting and most definitely will be returning to try.
Food and service was excellent as always.
Great food and service. Lots of menu choices including fresh sea food. Sea bass entree was delicious. Beautiful restored building.
i love this place. very family friendly, exceptional service and great food.
100/100 recommend every time if you haven't. even if you have, go back!
Great food, great service highly recommend dinner for two without any drinks but two appetizers and dinners was under $50.00 and food was delicious. Many options from Mexican and Italian cuisine.
Excellent food and service as always
We went to La Noria bases on reviews and were not disappointed. Really enjoyed the Mole, the octopus appetizer, and shrimp scampi. Will definitely come back.
Food and service was excellent as always.
Really enjoyed the food. I definitely will go back again.
We’ve been before which made us bring friends back. This visit though brought really slow and terrible service. We had a reservation and they put us in the section of huge party (30 people) and we ended up having to move we could hear each other. Food was delicious though.
