The pinnacle will feature Gastón Acurio, as he is joined by La Mar’s executive chef team from its restaurants across the globe including; Chef Victoriano Lopez of La Mar SF, Chef Diego Oka of La Mar Miami, Chef Anthony Vasquez of La Mar Lima, Chef Carlos Labrin of La Mar Santiago de Chile, Chef Cesar Bellido of La Mar Dubai, and Chef Frank Ponce of La Mar Doha. Guests can anticipate an evening filled with exceptional tastes and bites as each chef hosts a food station, along with free flowing pisco and champagne, festive live music and dancing on the patio, and a DJ inside La Mar Bar. Tickets for the grand event are $220 per person inclusive of food, drink and gratuity for the evening.

First time at La Mar Cocina, it was fair. It would be nice if the menu was also in english. I couldn't tell if the dish I was ordering was spicy. So of course I asked the service person and they said no. In fact it was spicy......The food was just mediocre.

This place was amazing. I highly recommend their 5 course meal with the wine paring. Carlos was our server so if your able to be accompanied by him you know your in good hands. The delicacies that we had were such high class and the food around us made me want to come back more. This is truly a one of a kind Peruvian restaurant.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We only ordered fish, both sashimi and grilled, and it was fresh and perfect. The sauces were wonderfully flavorful. The tres leche cake and the chocolate cake were a very good end to our meal. I look forward to going back there and sharing the experience with friends and family. Danny our server took wonderful care of us and he is a gem. He and the others who delivered the food, beverages, and removed plates all worked together in a perfect dance.

Incredible! From the staff, location to the delicious food! The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful with ordering. They even gave us a nice anniversary meal with a yummy complimentary tres leche cake.

Stellar service. Both of us thought the food was tasty, but not enough to want us to return. Especially at those prices. Friday night was noisy, but the high ceilings helped alleviate echos; conversation was not a problem.

Very disappointed - service was slow and confused - multiple wrong dishes and drinks brought to table. Long gaps between drinks, entrees and mains. Worst of all food was mediocre at best and expensive.

Our server Daniel was the absolute best. We had a team dinner with 8 people and asked him to just bring everything we would like and everything was INCREDIBLE. It was amazing after a long week at Dreamforce and we will be making a reservation every time we come in at La Mar Cocina Peruana

I love Peruvian food and really wanted to love this place - but just found it to be OK - nothing exceptional. Asked for "not too sweet" cocktail recommendation and our waiter's choice was unfortunately sweeter than expected - oh well. Menu is difficult to read/comprehend but our waiter did a good job guiding us through the choices. We started with the cebiches tasting (my favorite dish that we ordered) - bright and delicious! We also had the chicharron de calamares - very crispy, but squid was over cooked and dry. Not good. We had the lomo saltado and the pulp to share as entrees. The lomo lacked flavor (and what?, no fried egg?) and the octopus was properly cooked and tender but sauce was thick and muddy - needed acid. Not sure I'd go back - not terrible - just not great.

The appetizers and dessert were absolutely wonderful. The main course (scallops) was okay, we didn’t finish even half of it. The ambiance was really nice! Our main server was very helpful and kind; she’s getting a 5 star from me. However, we had a major unpleasant issue: a different server came to our table when my partner was in the restroom and PICKED UP HIS CHAIR without saying a word and just took it to a different table (it was an empty table and there were no chairs). I was shocked! I confronted him saying that this chair is being used (which was obvious, because there was a plate in front of it) and if he wants, he take one of the empty chairs on the other side of the table. He made a face at me, blurbed “how many chairs do you need”, and then replaced my partner’s chair with one of the spare chairs. No apologies, nothing. Extremely rude. When my partner came back, he noticed water spots on the new chair and had to exchange his chair. That’s probably why the server didn’t take that spare chair in the first place. Terrible service and something that made our otherwise nice experience sour. This was our second time at La Mar; the first one was amazing, so I’ll consider this one as an unfortunate accident; had it been my first time, I would never return here.

I’ve been going to La Mar for 15 years or so. And I just found the prices this trip absolutely ridiculous. We also had some issue with ordering drinks but they came 30 minutes later. I also felt the Lomo Saltado was a little too light on lomo. Better go to Lima to have the original.

There is something for everyone here. What we really liked is that out of four people, two were gluten free, one was vegan, one was pescatarian and one eats everything. Three of us, needless to say, are rather fussy. We each had an amazing meal with unique flavor profiles and dishes. This is my third time visiting La Mar and my experience was impeccable each time. I came home and told my husband that this is where I want to go for my birthday in 2024. It is not inexpensive but the service is as exquisite as the food and we all work very hard for our money. Happy to have this wonderful place as a local. As a bonus, we live in Sonoma County, took the Larkspur Ferry into San Francisco and did not have to deal with traffic or parking. We also got to enjoy the Farmer's Market and the Ferry Building before lunch. Oh and did I mention that our table was right on the water???? What a wonderful time!

The front house crew was excellent. Even helped me pick the table where my party of five would be seated. A member of the team escorted me back to my car to bring my out of house dessert into the venue. All were kind and thoughtful. Service and food were excellent as always. One of my favorite paces to dine in San Francisco.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service was perfect, very personal, fast enough, and still enough time between the different courses. We really had a marvelous time. They’re enjoyed the food, an exquisite selection of white and red wines from all over the world. Enrique accompanied us through the evening, gave great recommendations, and was a perfect representative of the hosting restaurant!

Terrific in every way! Took my global team of 8 for a post event celebration (Google Next at Moscone) and everyone agreed this was their BEST meal in SF, food was delicious & looked incredible (yeah lots of pics), drinks were perfectly done & gorgeous (Golden Inca!), and dessert was outta this world (their chocolate cake with rum shouldn’t be legal, it’s that good). La Mar, you do San Francisco proud… Bravo!
