   Service was poor I asked for ice water and got warm water with no refill offers. Food was ok, I made a resi here a week in advance for a special luncheon with an out of town guest and when I got there they said they didn't gage it in system but could "accommodate" it so not to worry. Then gave us the crappiest outside table with one chair facing in towards the bar. So I was disappointed. Always chose it. I'll go elsewhere.

   The food is great. The wait staff knows the menu and made excellent suggestions. Very professional service.

   I’ve been several times and it never disappoints. The trio of cebiches is incredible as was my Smokey old fashioned cocktail. Also loved the pasta with shrimp, octopus and crab. I was stuffed though still forced myself to eat desert. The tres leches cake is amazing. The ambiance is also really nice. Such an interesting old historic building and the decoration is beautiful. The front bar is really striking as well. I would highly recommend it for a special occasion as it’s a little pricey but well worth it.

   I reserved a table with friends intending to dine outside but there was a huge party that had reserved the whole back deck. Disappointing as the indoor seating is pretty unspectacular and super loud. Always good food though.

   We had a wonderful Business dinner at La Mar Cocina Peruana. We had great and attentive service with Everyone enjoying the delicious food. La Mar was also very flexible to update our group reservation to add a last minute additional attendee. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, ambience and service; we look forward to coming back to La Mar Cocina Peruana again soon!

   Food was not authentic. I am Peruvian we do not use jalapeños or habaneros they don’t taste like aji or rocoto. La Mar in Lima is sooooo much better

   The restaurant it self was amazing, good pisco sours and amazing plates. The ambiance was nice, clean and friendly. However the main issue was getting our server to come to us when we wanted to ask for something. The server never looked in our direction after food was served. We would have to get up and find him to order additional drinks. The service was not the best but the food was!

    Exceptional food and service for our party of 7. Loved the tasting menu. Reasonable Spanish wines. A very special meal. Easy free street parking on Sunday and we capped the evening with a stroll to see the illuminated sculpture of the woman in mountain pose in front of the ferry building.
