Disappointing given other decent reviews. We found the food average and over priced, except for the quinoa salad which was quite good, filling, and reasonably priced. Service was mediocre with our waiter asking for drinks before we could even take our coats off. It felt like an oversized, over priced tourist restaurant.
This is expensive dining but worth it because the food is so good and unusual. Service is great. The decor is beautiful. Would highly recommend it if you can afford to eat here.
We enjoyed a delicious meal trying many dishes. The servers were helpful, friendly and attentive. It was a great experience.
The flavors of Peru were well represented. Thoroughly enjoyed it all! Wonderful surroundings. Wait staff very attentive and knowledgeable. One of my go to places near my neighborhood.
Delicious! Incredible well done. Gaston acuario is the best chef!
Very pricey and loud but food was good.
Hands down, my favorite restaurant world-wide!
Great location on the water - and accessible to the financial district.
Very nice dinner, seafood was super fresh and food was prepared beautifully.
My new favorite restaurant. Divine food experience and great staff.
The service was so slow, we got in early but seated later. The food was okay and very pricey I guess your paying for the location , I have experience a better Peruvian food in the city and would not recommend the place.
Wait time for food was so long
What a fantastic restaurant experience. Rather expensive, but also very memorable. Besides the food and ambiance, the service was very professional.
Delicious although the lomo saltado steak was a bit undercooked and a bit on the slaty side. The cebiche, empanada and ambience was excellent.
Deberían De Tener Sangria. Pero aparte de eso todo fue perfecto el ambiente, y el servicio! En especial la vista al mar y el puente.
Very nice, enjoyable lunch. Only issues was various restaurant staff kept opening a door to the outside we kept asking to close due to the cold wind.
The food here is fantastic. I went twice in a month, once for dinner and once for lunch. I had a problem with the host seating everyone before us at the lunch and he sat them all outside then tried to put us inside, despite me having reservations with a request to be outside. They did fix this problem and sat us outside eventually. Other than that, service was good.
Good service and good food!
The lunch service was much too slow. Our server also pushed too much food on us. The outdoor dining experience is great.
Definitely a highlight of our trip to San Francisco! The halibut ceviche was sensational, the chicken empanadas melted in our mouth, the luscious sour and wine selection went perfect with our meal and the pork shank with corn and quinoa absolutely was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The wait staff was so attentive and kind with the perfect amount of interaction. Loved our waiter Raciell. Professional and super knowledgeable about wine pairing and even treated us with a tres leche cake for my birthday which was so delicious! We will be back for sure and have already recommended it.
Always great, colorful dishes, awesome empanadas, lively ambiance. Attentive staff she changed my seating request from two to six people upon request last minute. We had a blast, and I will continue bringing friends & family here!
Absolutely amazing dining experience. Food was displayed in a spectacular fashion and was delicious.
Excellent food and service. Beautiful setting. A wonderful place for celebration events.
This is not our first time here, but we loved it nonetheless. The food, service, and ambiance were great. Always looking forward to coming back.
The service and the food were great, I highly recommended this restaurant for all events, birthday and romantic dinner
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. If I could afford to eat here every day, I would. Have yet to have something that isn't delicious!!!
The ceviche, tiradito verde and lomo saltado are excellent!!
We’ve dined here 4-5 times over the past few years and the cuisine is consistently tremendous. Service is timely and friendly during moderately busy periods.
Food was delicious!! Highly recommend!
Service was not great. Food was amazing as always, loved their seafood.
Tasty food, great ambiance- especially on the patio and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the menue( both food and wine selections) . The shrimp and rice stir fry and tasting plate options are very yummy!
Great vib and location. Very accessible to public transportation. I had a cerviche appetizer which was spicy and outstanding but my main dish (mix seafood with rice) was rather plan and uneventful. They have a good beer and wine list and prices for food and drinks are reasonable. We had to wait 45 min for our main course and they were not all served at the same time. They seem to cater better to bigger groups. Long wait to use restroom.
Beautiful setting and ambiance. Excellent service. The food is exceptional. A true gem on the Embarcadero
Get seated at a timely manner, great customer service and food :)
Incredible food. Delicious and highly recommend. We had brunch there on a Sunday & we sat outside on their outside patio which was really very nice right by the water. The menu had a great selection of items & everything we ordered was fabulous. We will be going back for sure next time we are in town. It is not just ceviche. The menu had a full range of items for everyone. We had ceviche platter and empanada platter for appetizers & a version of eggs benedict which was divine. Desserts were so beautiful & delicious. The chefs here take great pride in their craft & it shows!!
Highly recommend this place. The décor inside was really very well done as well.
Sit outdoors on warm days. The view of the bay is nice.
The drinks and food are great here. You can’t go wrong.
Don’t mind the host as you enter if you have the arrogant frowning guy with glasses.
Everyone else was very nice and you only spend a
short moment with the host.
The kitchen is SO on point.
Their 🐙 is just the best.
11/10, a must visit every time I'm in the city.
The food and service we’re outstanding. However the check in process before 5:30 is confusing and frustrating. We arrived at 5:15ish for our 5:30 reservation. The bar and entry were full of people. We were told that they would begin check in at 5:30. So all the people who arrived ahead of time had to get in line with no consideration for when they arrived or if they had reservations. I think they should check customers in as they arrive and then seat them at 5:30
We were sitting outside by the water at 5:30 and it was lovely. About an hour later a lot of clouds rolled in and the wind picked up so it got quite cold. My 90 year old grandmother was visiting from south Florida and is accustomed to warmer weather. I asked three different people if we could move to one of the tables by the heaters for our dessert/coffee. There were 5-8 open tables by the heaters under the patio cover. Each of the three people said let me ask the hostess and then didn't return with any answer. I had asked the waiter as well who said he would check and let us know, then he asked if we wanted to order dessert. I gave him our order and then he came back with the coffee and went to put it down on the table. I became frustrated and did not understand why he was not acknowledging anything about our multiple requests to move tables. As he went to put the coffee down on the table I told him that we don't want dessert/coffee if we can't move to another table, as it is too cold. I was snippy in my communication due to my frustration with the situation and feeling that multiple requests to move were ignored. I later apologized to the waiter for my frustrated tone of voice. We were finally allowed to move and it was much more comfortable. Overall the meal/experience wasn't worth the $200 that we spent and I left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.
